i don't know if anyone commented on it, but when she went to mt. bei to rescue him, and when he thought he was dying and delivering that speech to ED, he said something along the lines 'you and prince duan poisoned me with multiple poisons all these years so i became immune to it', she blinks totally confused. it's just that his 'outbursts' usually happen when they're almost dying so she has no time to react properly. although, she did ask twice about shenyi but it could also be interpreted as her being a little jealous. 👀

they didn't say it explicitly, but if you think about it - the crown prince has to be emperor's direct heir and since dan has been in the novel for 15 years, it has to be his son he got after ascending the throne. also, both young dan and his son are played by the same actor, another hint that they are father-son.
