I saw *one* clip today and started it, now I am on episode 8 and I have to take a break because my eyes started to hurt but I just keep thinking about it 😭😭

started it because i remember everyone hyping it when it was airing. I watched enough adopted siblings dramas to become immune to the weirdness of it so that’s not a big deal for me. what I can’t stand in any drama, not just this one, is the infantilisation of the fl. it does reach a certain point when it becomes disturbing. she’s 20, acting like an elementary kid. her half-sister, jiang xin, showed more maturity in the few scenes she appeared in than her, even tho she could’ve rat her out for the heater thing, for example.

I got to the episode 8 and got the 2nd hand embarrassment at the ending scene when she interrupted Jin Zhao and Snakey with the apple thing. Tell me if it gets better later on 🥲

that would explain why they clicked off immediately 😒

dang, he had a heart transplant and there’s no scar and no limited activity for him. he’s running around, beating bad guys, he was even hit by a car (we didn’t see the scar on his chest btw) and he’s still fine. wow, just wow😆

also, the fact that she hugged him. if he's a ghost, shouldn't she pass right through him? although that wouldn't make sense because he was hurt pretty bad so no way he could just walk over to her like that🤣

either way, they overlooked the hug thing because the whole episode was focused on the fact that ghosts are see-through and you can't touch them🤔

the ultimate sign that you're watching too many dramas is the fact that you can recognise most of the locations they use 😆❤️

give me back the time i poured into those 26 episodes i watched, i could've been watching anything else. i rated it 4☆ just because i liked OST and the cast, but now that i think about it, it deserves even lower 😐

oh gosh, basically everyone is killed off, two of them had another separation and ended up together hastily again. tongzhou's arc doesn't surprise me at all, he was destined to be the villain from the moment they formed that bond.

i also, heavy on that part where they sacrifice their lives for those who repeatedly wanted to kill them. that's why i would be a sucky xianxia character because no, if you're set on killing me, everyone and their mother is also dying when the time comes. like bye, bffr💀

i dropped it at ep 26, can someone brief me how it ended 👀
