I love her so much!! In every drama she is in, no matter how small her role is, she always managed to make her moments shine so bright! Love that she always brings that A game!
I've been crying at every episode. It's not exactly some huge drama kinda crying scene, but every little element in the story telling really tugs your heartstring. Especially if you've had experince some sort of abandonment at a moment in life. Really great and worth watching.
I enjoyed your crazy long review although as someone who has yet watched The Blood of Youth, I had to guess all the acronyms and short forms. HAHAHAH But enjoyable review!!
I was not too fond of the ending here though. What I felt would have made it perfect is if they'd show me what happened to Emperor Roujin after everything. So Wenjun just goes back to the palace just like that? Does the emperor realize that the whole mess started from his greed for beauty? Or does he get his way in the end? And for Wenjun to just go back despite the whole drama that began from her wanting to leave the palace. The mess she put her senior brother through and yet again and again he did what he could to help her escape only for her to go back herself. She deserves to be sad forever.
One of the main issues with "Immortality" is its basis in a boys' love (BL) novel, which features romantic relationships…
But wasn't Untamed also based on a BL novel? Yet they've managed to remove all hints of romance between the 2 ML and changed it into a bromance kinda of camaraderie which bodes well with the audience. I figured that Immortality would have taken the same steps as well.
Is there a reason why this drama is still not aired despite having so many behind-the-scenes? Are they planning to cancel off the drama completely or will they eventually release it in god-knows-when year?
Thank god it was only 15-20 minutes each episode and only have 8 episode. Halfway through, I was pissed that I even spent time watching such a plot... Wasted my time.
But, Green & Chap are adorbs. I finished the series just watching them, but urghhh.
