Not necessary but it would give you context to the people surrounding them. :) Tossara would play a big role to adding context to this series considering that one of the male lead is the younger brother of the lead in Tossara. But my personal favourite is Love Mechanics

Actually I am hoping that as Pang develops his powers, he'd be able to shield his mind. Meaning to say that apart from controlling people's mind, the teacher's memory wiping will no longer have effect on Pang. That would be amazing.

I agree. I think the romance between Claire and Punn is suffice. No need to add more and no need to have it as a center focus. Also you are absolutely right with the Twins. Would love to know more about them and their background. Also, giving us a background on Pang and why is he so idealistic would also help us understand and build his character more.

Oh gosh yes! Thank you!! I totally agree and would hate for this great suspenseful series to be turned into a romantic mush. Seeing the Genre here showing Romance is causing me some worries. I think leaving the romance to Claire and Punn is good enough while the rest can focus on continuing the mystery. PangWave makes a good duo but it most definitely do not need any BL elements at all. I love BL dramas and enjoy them a lot but I don't think every series needs to pull in that element.
