Good performance, weak romance

At first look, the story seems simple, and in many ways, it is. However, if you’re expecting a strong romance, this drama may not be the best choice.

The male lead is not particularly romantic; he feels passive and lacks initiative, constantly rejecting Mu-hee instead of engaging with her emotionally. This dynamic becomes repetitive and frustrating over time.

Another weak point is the Do Rami storyline, which clearly needed deeper exploration. A proper diagnosis or even a basic scientific explanation would have added depth, but the plot is abruptly abandoned. She simply disappears, and only in the final two episodes does the narrative finally shift toward romance.

The highlight of the drama is undoubtedly Youn Jung’s performance. Her acting is impressive, especially considering she plays two very different roles in the same series. That alone kept me watching until the end.

Despite the strong chemistry and solid performances from the cast, the script fails to support them. Cha Mu-hee is written as someone who constantly chases Ho-jin, while he repeatedly rejects her, creating an dissonance in the relationship.

Final verdict: 7/10. Not outstanding, not terrible, just okay if you don't expect so much.
