Mr Gu and Mi Jung's relationship is kinda like mine and my hubby's after 35 years- 9 years dating and 26 yrs of marriage. It's not lovey, dovey. It's that sit separately on a bus, eat dinner quietly, walk without holding hands... but we are soul mates, we get each other. We love each other but it's not a lot of PDA and that's ok.
Aigoooo. Who is doing Sung Hoon's makeup and wardrobe? Are they stuck in studio 54? He is one of the real Oppa OGs! Hello Mr. My Secret Romance? So mad they made him look all weird and shiny?? He can be uber handsome without all that. Hopefully at the end he'll look normal.
Wow, these topics that this drama deals with are very heavy topics. like 50 lb topics. I don't think I've ever seen a Kdrama that has dealt with infidelity, teen pregnancy, depression, anxiety, divorce, suicide or child custody all wrapped up into 1 drama. As heavy as those are, you will still enjoy watching this because you are immersed by the hard core emotions from the actors and beauty of the music and cinematography this story provides, Yes, you will need those tissues as you watch, so I would say don't binge this, it's too heavy on the heart.
Whenever Gong Tae Sung pops his eyes out like after he's sleeping; when he gets jealous; when he can't find Oh Han Byul on the set== an angel gets its wings... ❤
I hate to say it, but this is what 2521 should have been. Why do dramas have to be so serious or have some element of mystery? Can't we jut have a straight forward sports rom com with no plot twists or surprises, no age gaps, no slow moving relationships? Ok that kiss kinda came outa no where but bam! no hesitation. I don't like MLs to be wishy washy until epi 12 or something- it gets to be draggy. This pace is perfect and the PARK TWINS are my FAVORITE rn. Pack up the Parks. I will take them to go!!!!
i just don't like how he always resort to physical violence. he's hitting his own son even before the pregnancy…
The writer eluded to the thug fact in episode 2 when Eun Hee said to Jihwan, you really are a thug when he used Hansoo's card to pay for the drinks after their reunion.
My current favorite character in this is Park Ji Hwan, aka thug dad. I always thought he was funny in the beginning, always wanting to start shyt with the other dad. But as this story is progressing, you realize he's hurting and he's like my dad and your dad. He just wants the best of his kid, but they don't know how to express it. Wow, he made me cry buckets and the end of epi 8. This is one of those dramas you'll never forget.
