I am strangely attracted to the ML and FL. She's pretty and not too annoying and he's very easy on the eyes and with a not too arrogant attitude. They compliment each other and have great chemistry. But yes, the Cdramas clichés are king here. But the wardrobe is nice! I don't even care if they are rewearing them scene after scene. 🤣 This is satisfying my Cdrama watching since I finished A River Runs through It.
Episode 7 brought out all those angry, sad, regretful thoughts and feelings of a bad breakup and an ex that still likes to stay in contact and tell you their good news just to rub it in. For me, this drama is so relatable- to the point that I think I am the screenwriter?!
This is a rare drama where 1) the romance and bromance has equal amount of chemistry 2) the village supporting cast is just as lovable as the ML and FL. 3) the cinematography has its own lines 4) (so far) you don't feel threaten by any dramatic elements that may ruin the mood of the drama. This genre of a healing drama is rare.
So far this is cute and fluffy. I like the fact this is 24 episodes. Lately, the 24 eps Cdrama rom coms I have been watching all have been "just right" and not dragging.
I really love Kim Min Jae's humorous side in this drama! Though I really loved Do you Like Brahms and Flower Crew, his character here is just hilarious when he's yelling and acting as if he hasn't fallin for her. He's a pretty versatile actor. But I especially LOVE the fashion here. Her dresses and high class style and his loud but classy suits! Very different style for a Kdrama.
