Is it just me, Ko Seul Hae and the ghosts who want the old dramatic dumbass CCW back? He was hella cool as Poong Baek but I don't really like this new modern version... the comedy has been significantly toned down, except for CCW's over the top courting - and I'm just a little weirded out. It's funny, yes, but this isn't who Seul Hae and I fell for. I can't say it's an "upgrade". He's being plain weird and I totally feel for Seul Hae. I was hoping for just slight subtle character development, not personality fusing with an added spoonful of dark seriousness. The old CCW was just awkwardly adorable in his flirting. This is full-blown uncomfortable for me.
I understand that the stakes are now higher and the thrilling arc has taken the lead now, but honestly, I miss the outrageously adorable romcom it used to be. Feels like I'm watching a two-part series.
Not saying I don't like the historical arc or the current twists and developments... I love the whole story but I really just want the old CCW back. Poong Baek was amazing in his own life and CCW's dorky jerk self was adorable in the present. Not really liking the fusion and sudden seriousness + seriously cringey courting scenes. The embroidery was funny but he's starting to go overboard now, IMO. Maybe I should slowly change the gears in my brain and enjoy it as a mystery thriller now...
Now if that was a plotwist- And I was wondering what would happen in the rest of the episodes😭
IKRRT i was like oh well i guess we jut have to et rid of evil old Sid the Sloth police chief and we're done with the show... but nooooo writers had to punch me out of nowhere
Am I correct in believing that it was SEUL-HAE that protected CCW from the Evil Spirit? Let me just say that I…
I don't think so... i thought that the scene was very similar to the past life, where FL seems to have done the same thing and got killed in the process. Maybe because of that, past life Poong Baek was awakened and became so powerful - to prevent the same thing from happening again. But this is all my speculation...
Ohmygoodness this episode where do I even startttttt the actors are all so GOODDDD and the writer oh my everythig is perfect!!
This whole historical arc is so beautifully done... the way he looks at her I BURNNNN historical dramas have this way of setting my heart on fire even with the smallest glances or touches. I know we're gearing up for sadness but I'll just enjoy that absolutely enchanting last scene for 24 hours 🥰
Chun Hwa is so adorably hilariously brazen, its so cuuuuteeee to see her fangirling so wholeheartedly over him and the way he cherishes her I CANNOT WITH THIS CHEMISTRYYYYY
ill shut up now... oh wait SA. RANG. HAE. YO. POONG BAEK! ANGELIC SMILE, POONG BAEKKK!! XD
ooh... so he remembers his past life next ep... but does he still remember his current life?
Im sire he remembers his current life... but the memories of his past are so fresh in his mind that it may be hard for him to keep the two lives separate
can someone give me kdrama recs with a similar main coupleI'm obsessed with this kdrama
Im Not A Robot couple is a little like this... ML is a CEO who loves aaying he wants to be alone but hes also an absolute BABY, a little boy inside. FL is adorable, kind and smart. Not as much thrill in this drama though - its a hardcore romcom.
Hi guys, I'm quite lost and I need your help. I'm on episode 3 and I still don't understand who is the General…
The other ghosts are just ghosts with unfulfilled wishes, staying in the real world on Cha Woong's spiritual energy. So if they exert themselves, Cha Woong's energy gets depleted. The General is a kind of guardian spirit, the spirit which gives Cha Woong and his ancestors their shaman powers. Cha Woong is next in line, so he is supposed to let the General possess him and become a shaman, but he doesn't want to do that. The General has his own powers and energy. He seems to be in this position because of some grave sin he comitted in his past life.
If Cha Woong becomes a shaman, the virtue points he gains by helping people contribute to helping the General attain nirvana(because the General helps him do his shaman thing). Since that's not an option now, the other way is to receive thanks from people with a Seven Star Channel, which means they are highly favored/have a direct connection with the gods. So whenever Cha Woong helps Seul Hae(who has a Seven star Channel), the General gains virtue points. None of this is a spoiler.
