This is such a fun article! There's this one brand of mineral water that was in EVERY SINGLE kdrama ever - I call it "kdrama water", so I don't know what it's called 😅

As a kdrama fan, Samsung is dear to my heart now. How to find the year in which a drama was made? Look at the Samsung phone model the MCs are using. Touch Your Heart and the "share battery" function that was just so CUTE

My favorite PPL show is Samsung's Two Lights: Relumino with Park Hyung Sik and Han Ji Min. I knew it was all a huge ad but i sincerely loved the movie - gave you all the feels and was heartwarming at the same time

it's been so long since we got a kdrama like this... I've been going to cdramas and jdramas to satisfy my outrageous fluffy drama cravings

this one is just terribly toxic. Season 2 is better(similar plot but slightly less toxic and you don't really have to watch S1 to know what's happening), but i still wouldn't re-watch either of the two. This is coming from someone who doesn't really mind arrogant-softie or even borderline domineering MLs. This ML was just... insane. And I wanted to slap the FL more than once.

why not? he's also a good actor
i agree, but for the sake of my beloved I'm Not A Robot, I'm hoping against hope that he does justice to the character... he was fine in My Love, Enlighten Me, but i still can't see him on the same level as Yoo Seung Ho(also my kdrama first love, so i might be a little biased lol)

I'm Not A Robot is one of my favorite romcoms in FOREVER, so I'm both excited and wary about A Robot in the Orange Orchard. Though INAR will always be special to my heart, i do hope ARITOO does justice to the plot :)

Welcome to the wonderful world of makjang.
great thanks I'll start it soon!

PS: If you like older-couple romance, I'd recommend the Korean movie Salut D'Amour. Youn Yuh Jung is the FL and its one of THE sweetest, most realistic, heartwarming romance ever. Bonus - a Jung Hae In cameooooo 😍

and you might like Octogenarians and the 90s... it's about two young people who learn how to manage a nursing home. The elderly characters are very well-written and they invest in their stories quite a bit(it IS about old people). The relationships between the old people in the nursing home and the young ones, along with the relationship of ML and FL with their own grandparents... everything was done quite nicely. The only downside is that it's a little slow-paced.

this will always be my number one kdrama. Do not for a second think that this is Are You Human Too with the genders reversed. FL is, possibly, the worst, craziest, funniest, most human-like robot ever. It's ML who hasn't been around humans, and that's why he accepts her completely. I love how it's basically a haters-to-friends-to-lovers allegory about the importance of trust and human relationships. It's a trope done RIGHT.

If you are entitled, hair grabbing and pulling is de rigueur.
you haven't seen even the tip of the iceberg, then. Hair pulling is Level 1. Then there's kimchi slapping, bean sprout throwing, water splashing and dunking the other person's face into food 😂 id be lying if i said i dont enjoy lunatic ahjumma fights

Welcome to the wonderful world of makjang.
well, this drama is nuts but Never Twice is pretty good, as a family comedy drama

What a waste of time. Portraits Korean women as only finding their worth in marrying a well-off man and being…
they're basically taking the most dramatic events that can happen in a family and exaggerating it. No one would watch if everybody was sane and nice and sweet and kind to everybody else.

Can you please recommend me some good CEO dramas ???
Sure :)
Nice CEOs who aren't bullies/don't force their subordinates to do stuff:
- Never Twice(family drama, FL is a divorcee with a baby, is his secretary for a quarter of the drama)
- Secret Life of My Secretary(FL could be seen as a doormat but she learns and Veronica Paaaarrk is a whole reason why you can't miss the drama XD)
- Jugglers(ML isn't a CEO but holds a manager post, FL is his secretary - the whole drama is about secretaries)

CEOs who start out arrogant but soften up somewhere in the middle and the FL isnt a doormat(but the relationship isn't toxic)
- What's Wrong With Secretary Kim(FL is ML's secretary)
- Strong Woman Do Bong Soon(FL is ML's secretary)
- 1% of Something(FL is a kindergarten teacher)
- Suspicious Partner(ML isn't a chaebol but he's the CEO of a small law firm after he loses his prosecutor job, FL is a lawyer at his firm)
- Lost Romance(honestly one of the best, funniest romances everrrr, FL works at a publishing house in the real world and as ML's employee, then housekeeper in the fictional world)
- I'm Not A Robot(not an office drama but the ML is a CEO, FL is an enterpreneur inventor with two part time jobs: rare toy-buying agent and then a robot in ML's house)
- Tomorrow With You(not an office drama but ML is a real estate company CEO and FL is a photographer, the chemistry is FIRE)

just keep the CEO romances coming I'll swallow them all up as long as the CEO isn't a beast and the FL isn't a doormat

as far as I can remember School 2015 is the only time I got SLS but only because of the script. the writer gave…
i agree with you completely. coincidentally, the only time i ever got SLS was Who Are You 2015 too. I just got the feeling that SML truly liked the FL while ML was in love with the twin sister and switched tracks for reasons i still don't understand.
