The SML has to be the worst SML ever such an idiot... but then when I look at it objectively, he plays the same tricks as most drama MLs do... call the FL out for "work" and then do anything BUT.
I tried but FL's acting is so forced and the plot is unrealistic to the point that it's painful to watch. Everything…
I feel you :) I watch cdramas when I feel like turning of my brain, so I watch them in between thrillers/melos/ other deep kdramas.
I've watched tons of cdramas and I actually like this one more than most of the others out there. I don't mind illogical plots because my brain is off anyway and I take whatever reasons the writer gives as long as the outcome/relationship development is good. I'm glad ML is a nice guy... most of the other marriage-contract trope dramas have pretty possessive/controlling/too-flirty MLs with no respect for personal space that make me uncomfortable and constantly embarrass the FL. I like that this guy is nice to her(almost died of shock when he ASKED to hold her at the waist when they were rehearsing the wedding XD) and that he's also a dorky sweetheart 😂 and the drama DOES get better :)
Love in Time and Well-Intended Love: trigger warning. The MLs are terrible people if this was real life. Especially with WIL, the ML is HORRIBLE. I couldn't enjoy any of the cuteness once I knew what he had done. Please don't take this as a hate rant, I'm a person with high bossy-ML tolerance. The two MLs crossed a line that shouldn't be crossed.
Everything about this drama was wonderful... the storytelling, the beautiful vintage cinematography, the colors, the music, the fashion, the acting, and the screenplay. But I still feel the tragedy part was pretty useless. It left me empty and frustrated, unlike some really good tragedies I've watched. After a while, the way ML constantly insisted on leaving and FL constantly not listening starting to annoy me. I know some people feel like it's "realistic", but this just didn't work for me. I wished they would either just get up and LEAVE or stay with a full heart, no regrets. I also feel that because I had watched A Taxi Driver before this one, I expected more heart and sacrifice, more people being selfless than all the seemingly unnecessary romance.
I've been stalking this article to see when it'll get published XD Congrats on this second article that really…
Watch the movie "A Taxi Driver"(I think it;s free on Viki). It gives you lots of details and shows you things from an ordinary citizen's point of view.
I didn't watch It's Okay to Not Be Okay despite the general opinion being that it's a masterpiece. Now I'm wondering…
I dropped it halfway. The general opinion that it's a masterpiece is usually among the younger age groups, because the FL is such a "savage" who also dresses very well.
Basically, they give FL a very dark past which is an excuse for her terrible, close to illegal, behavior. The things she does sometimes really have no excuse. She endlessly stalks the ML to the point that I wanted to throw my laptop. And the worst part is that they spend loadsssss of time running all over a mental health hospital and NOBODY does anything to get her help. The drama sort of makes you think that love can cover everything and change you, but I think both of them badly needed professional therapy. I don't believe in bringing two mentally unstable characters together with an autistic person and then trying to "heal" everyone. It's like a mockery of mental health!
Second chance dramas usually showcase quite a bit of "quiet love" because of the nature of the genre. I liked 18 Again and Go Back Couple for all those little moments that mattered.
Goodness it always surprises me... the way we have such double standards when it comes to cdramas or kdramas. I've always noticed that mature kdramas get way more harshly judged than these cdramas.
Just finished it! It's such an underrated drama! I loved everybody!
Lee Je Hoon and Shin Min Ah's chemistry is honestly one of the BEST I've ever seen in Dramaland!! They're so terribly, hilariously adorable!! I clicked rewind wayyyyy more than I hit forward on most dramas. 🥰🥰 I'm so glad I watched this even with the low ratings. It's a beautiful, heartwarming story that really makes you think and cherish the present you have.
And don't even get me started on the exceptional cinematography. The muted, autumn-y color palette is so beautiful... perfect to immerse yourself in on a rainy day! I loved the way some scenes were shot.
Currently at ep 11 and I'm starting to become irritated to Je Hoon's character. I see him as a close minded person…
The beauty is in the way his character changes and grows... "Even if it's just for one minute, I want to spend it with her." Can you believe he says that?!!
To everyone saying both women were annoying, you haven't watched many historical cdramas, have you? 😂😂 Goodness. AOL's FL is nothing compared to half the others I've watched :P
The article is biased. It clearly favors LAR. One of the article that makes no sense is that saying AOL has no…
I agree that the article feels a little biased(no hate toward the author 😅). Even though Jin Mi couldn't feel emotions, there was LOTS of overflowing chemistry I felt between the two. The whole story is epic, deep and passionate. I didn't think JM was annoying... she was cute and made me laugh quite a bit... and we also get to see that adoring look from Phoenix every time she does something funny. I missed her dorky self a LOT after she completely matured. DL as the phoenix was such a swoony character 😍😍
Even the saddest scenes were written so unbelievably well. I usually hate sad scenes but the dialogue and the way those scenes are shot make it so epic and tragically beautiful that I can watch them again and again. Another commenter here said it was "artistically beautiful". I agree wholeheartedly. It was a mesmerizing watch.
So in the end, I think it's based on your personal preference. One thing I can say with AOL: you have to read between the lines. They don't vocalize every emotion, you have to feel the love more than rely on their words.

This is just my opinion, though :)
Idk if this is iQiyi, but does anyone know when She and Her Perfect Husband is releasing??

Watch it with your heart, not your head!!
