This drama starts out with them as kids. Because it starts out with them as kids, I got very, very attached to them. I feel like they're my own children.
My heart hurts when I see them making the wrong decisions or being with the wrong people. I'm happiest when they're all smiling. Simei is crazy but I still love her... she's like Phillippa Gordon from the Anne series. She's irrational and lives in her own fantasy world, but you can't help but love her for her innocence and (though it's misplaced)courage. I feel sorry for the soldier 😂 but I do want her to be happy.
And Yiding just needs to appear on screen for me to start crying. I love him so much! I love the way he handles some situations. His smile makes my day, and so does Sanli's.
I don't want to talk about Yicheng. He used to be my favorite character but his choices just aren't justifiable anymore. His wife is terrible. I hate the way she brushes off all her lies and wrongdoings with a cute little smile. Yicheng's friend is a wonderful character, but Yicheng just refuses to listen 😑

Yiding is my favorite ❤ Sanli is my other absolute favorite. And the cousin is my second favorite character. All I'm asking is for lots of Sanli-Yiding because I love them so so so much

Simei seems to be that one funny, reckless character the writer treats as comedy material. I like her and hope she doesn't get hurt, but it was funny to see her imaginations with the soldier guy. AND they have a childhood connection. So I think I'll ship it like any other fluffy rom-com.

WHY is everyone saying ML is the one who ruined FL's entire career? Wasn't he just in charge of the lighting? Those trashy company people told him to do it, he did it! Yeah, he was hard-hearted. He could have tried saving the day by rebelling against the manager or something, but everyone can't just naturally blame him for everything wrong that happened to her! It was the manager's plan, not his. Even if he hadn't done what he did, that manager said that it was always their plan to debut only LinLin!
AND he apologized at the start, which is something not many MLs do. Of course it became a misunderstanding, but, from his perspective, he asked for her forgiveness and received it.
The episodes are just getting funnier and funnier. I REALLY loved Episode 6 😂😂 I've been re-watching that scene where Youngjae imagines how Kang Hui ended up with the torn shirt a MILLION times because it was just so freaking FUNNY! I had tears rolling down my cheeks from laughing so hard and the entire episode was such a dorky clown fest 🥰 I haven't laughed so hard in months. Love how they manage to pull off the comedy without making it too cringey or annoying. I'm enjoying this light watch.
When will Wang Yiding come backkkkk I'm crying with frustration over these characters' choices 😭 I feel like they're my kids because I've watched them grow up. Every time she "apologizes", I want to pull my hair out
