I also felt the same...I mean she also forgot or pretending to forget the promise she made to her parents..I think…
I wouldn't be so frustrated if she had aborted the kid after at least letting him know. Even a "I'm NOT HAVING THE BABY! I'M GOING TO THE HOSPITAL!" *slams door, runs away* would have been better. Anyway, we're all used to her screaming and getting her way. That kid might be inside her body, but half it's DNA is Yicheng's. It's not his fault that he isn't the pregnant one.
Forget being mentally ready to be a mom, she wasn't mentally ready to be a wife, either.
Exactly!! They are so exhausting to watch! Qiqi and Yiding are spineless. I thought Qiqi's romance would be refreshing…
I think Sanli didn't want to bother Yicheng because everyone knows he's going through a rough patch with Xiaolang and everyone is treading on thin ice rn. I still can't understand why they're so attached to their good-for-nothing parents -_- I'm just hoping Yiding will grow a spine soon. And yeah, I was surprised when Sanli talked about guardians. She obviously regards him as a guardian(we see that when she tells Simei how lucky they are to have a Big Brother guardian like him who raised them and then tells Yiding that she feels they all rely on Yicheng too much.)
But you're right. Every character in this drama seems to make their decision first, cause a ruckus, and then wait for the chaos to die down before starting up something else. All the characters are incredibly flawed, and that's why I feel like Sanli-Yiding are the least problematic. I'm trying to look on the bright side.
I personally would like to see more of Yicheng's friend, because I really like him and he's my last hope. I know cdramas like to drag around for a while before picking up the pace and straightening everyone out, so I'm waiting for something like that to happen. And I really like the nostalgic cinematography and OST, and I've gotten very attached to the characters so I'm going to hang on π
That one scene where the family is cleaning up the broken house... I felt like I could finally breathe. If you notice, none of the toxic members are present. It's just Yicheng, Erqiang, Sanli, Yiding, and Simei. Though the scene was short, I loved watching them laugh and play for that little time.
WTH is wrong with the men in this drama. They are emotionally draining to watch. Yi Cheng who as a child then…
Exactly!! They are so exhausting to watch! Qiqi and Yiding are spineless. I thought Qiqi's romance would be refreshing but that girl is just creepy. Yicheng and Erqiang are just downright frustrating.
I don't totally agree with you on Yiding, because I do like him, even though he has an inferiority complex. And Sanli is such a sweetheart. I like that he discusses things with her and that they both trust each other completely. I love the way he's always there for her family and I also liked the way he handled her trauma when they were dating. I love the two of them when they're together. I love how they do normal things like eat lunch together, bicycle/walk home together while chatting away about ordinary things, go to the movies, share their wins and losses, and tell each other about their decisions immediately. He's always there to help with their family matters and she's so supportive. Yiding has been completely accepted as part of the family. They're the only non-dysfunctional couple here, though the MIL is starting to complicate things. Why do we have so many bloodsucking leeches for parents??!!
The cousin was one good man but I haven't seen him in forever. Yicheng's friend is another good guy and I'm secretly shipping him and Simei with all my heart.
Who will the second brother end up with his master or hus wife at the end? And is his wife having a affair with…
I feel like the affair is over but WOW I'm still shocked that she had an affair and aborted the baby. And Erqiang just refuses to let go of that master even though he's married!! The brothers' lives are just messes at this point.
The chickens finally came home to roost for Zu Wang. While I am definitely not a fan of Xiao Lang, when she told…
I'm also confused about Erqiang! They registered their marriage but they're still living separately... Erqiang hasn't let go of Master and I just can't see that he loves his current wife... and WHY do both of them have history with older people???? Neither of them are coming clean, either. SO MUCH LACK OF COMMUNICATION!!
At this point, I can't wait for the divorce. She picks at every reason to start a fight. Either she tries to tolerate and then explodes or she's just plain mean to his siblings. I'm seriously starting to love Simei's guts though... I love her personality and the way she's the only one who stands up to Xiaolang's face ππ Somehow, I'm shipping Simei with Yiding's friend. I thought they looked good together in that one scene they were in. Yiding's friends has his head on straight, he's smart, funny and says exactly what's on his mind. I'm sure he and Simei will make a good couple.
The only couple who love and trust each other completely, my favorite shipβ Sanli x Yiding... WHY does he have to have such a trashy mom??!! πππ Poor Sanli, I really wonder how things will play out.
I looked up the character profiles of this drama, and it described YiCheng as having TWO marriages? So I'm guessing…
I totally agree with you. But I think most of us knew a divorce was coming because of that end credits photo of the entire family together... I really wonder how Xiaolang's friend/ex-roommate ended up with him but I totally ship them. She's nice.
I held on because I loved the kids. If you expect it to get better, it doesn't. But the dad's screen-time does go down a bit after some time so HANG IN THERE!
So,basically a list of J dramas with an occassional korean and Tw drama..Seems J dramas have a low fan base in…
I don't think it's just on MDL... Japan is known for it's hugh-quality anime, not dramas. And, from what I've observed after watching SK, J, TW, C, HK and Thai dramas, is that most J-dramas' production quality isn't as good as SK and C-dramas. You'll also find that the overall rating of J-dramas is lower than SK and C-dramas. I think J-dramas still have to find enough funds/quality writers/staff/whatever it takes to create good, high-quality productions that can compete with SK and C-dramas. Streaming sites like Viki have only recently started adding a good number of J-dramas.
Did erqiang will end up with his master? The poster kinda give us hint about the love line, is that erqiang and…
I think erqiang ends up with Master because of that end credits photo π³ If he does, I really will feel very bad for Xiaomo. It's so awkward to watch them walk together without talking ππ I'm starting to dislike Erqiang
Sometimes I hate the scenes with end credits. I keep on wondering how Erqiang and the other girl end up sleeping together. I would have shipped but Erqiang seems determined to be with his Master π He actually gets on my nerves sometimes.
