This drama is not slow-paced at all. Everything is in its place just nice. No scene is unnecessary, nothing is slow. Are people comparing this with reels or smt idk... It is 6 episodes, and every episode is full already. Storyline is also solid; you don't ask "why???" after anything. At the end, it doesn't have that "wow" effect but it is still a high quality drama. 8/10
Some dresses were painful to look at... They had that hunger games capitol vibes... I never hated a main character more. Her character and plans were inconsistent. This show reminded me Glory a lot but it didn't have half the quality Glory has. All her enemies dying is super unsatistifactory, you don't feel victory at all. 13 years for killing everyone and losing the man you love. Super unnecessary effort... Anyways I still wanted to finish it. It's still enjoyable to watch. 6,5/10 for me
I love how there are two sons of different gang leaders and how they serve as a foil for each other. If examined carefully, it is an easy foreshadowing. I enjoyed this part the most. I don't like that everyone is dying. Gi Jun being all alone is painful. Even one person could call him at the end, it would be amazing. My unrealistic and childish expectation... Overall, it is a high-quality show with great acting and plot.
Great acting. The movie is unnecessarily long and boring. Sometimes, I felt the movie was completely meaningless because most of it consisted of the king's torture and no scenario at all. They put reenactments of torture together and sprinkled a little bit of revenge and regret.
I understand the film's purpose and importance and am grateful that the director tried to raise awareness for the unjust system. Regardless, the plot is weak and the acting is terrible at times. 5/10
That sex scene is a foil for the former sex attempt between jonathan and carrie. Jonathan couldn't have sex with…
Shane actually had feelings for him, i wanna say but it is so difficult. It seems shane is afraid of being alone and try to keep people close no matter what. Maybe he has feelings for both but cant choose because he doesnt wanna lose any of them.
I have read the book and loved it! The film isn't that good; i recommend you to read the book. In the book Masako was a super cool, helpful character, i dont understand why she is bad in the film. Also very important characters and scenes are absent in the film. I am disappointed.
It was a really nice movie superb acting all around but I’m still confused after the sex scene?? Like why did…
That sex scene is a foil for the former sex attempt between jonathan and carrie. Jonathan couldn't have sex with her. On the other hand shane and jonathan could have sex. Whatever it is that stopped jonathan didn't stop shane. In addition, it can't be a show of gratitude bc shane didn't know jonathan loved him that way.
