It's a little hard to understand because imo the manhwa is a little bit messy. Daon liked Jaemin first and if I'm not mistaken he liked Soohyun after or something like that. Jaemin likes when Daon depends on him. He apparently rejected him because he didn't think Daon really liked him and instead he thought he liked Soohyun.
And about the fake relationship thing was to prevent Soohyun from dating him, probably because he thought Daon would accept. And Soohyun knew Daon liked Jaemin so they both agreed.
But to be honest if someone else can add or confirm it would be great. I read the manhwa a long ago and I remember Daon pissed me off, he was messing with the three guys. 😠And also the drama is being kinda different from the manhwa.
