yes i was trying to watch road to splendor and genuinely could not take any of it seriously bc it all felt SO silly. i'm glad i'm not alone! i did the same thing i decided i was gonna watch wonderland of love cause i wanted to watch something i knew was just fun alongside it!

when did i hate on it? calling something silly is not an insult. its just that in comparison to the heavy realism of against the current, this one feels like a fantasy drama. i am enjoying it but i would be enjoying it more if i wasn't watching the masterpiece that is against the current! if you haven't watched it yet you definitely have to!
