Yall the first 4 eps of this drama so far are a horror film please tell me the whole show is not like this!

he gave her a home and a job for her whole family. he also freed her which may not seem like a big deal but was extremely rare and not something many people during that time would do! he is breaking taboo after taboo for her. he gave her an orchid to make her happy and has trusted and given her opportunities over and over again. idk what you mean by what has he done for her?

do you know how annoying it is to me that brides are not even allowed to attend this own wedding celebrations in this time? they just had to wait for the husband to party and then come to consummate their marriage. it's so unbelievably insulting to me every time i see it. women have not had it easy ya'll!

i'm so annoyed that Scholar Han found her before ML! Poor guy hasn't gotten any credit for all the things he's done for her!

in this specific case i don't think they care bc their pride is in the way. they are marrying for the political advantage and she doesn't see people below her as people. it's rare for people to be like jinqi and see them as humans. i don't think she can fathom the way he feels nor does she care if it means she's being disrespected. but also lol it's fiction! normally people would consider these things lol

that is understandable. didn't realize she was so much older than him! i would go back and give it another try at some point if you feel called! it gets better the farther you get into the series! still my favorite modern c-drama to date.

am i the only one who thinks they have like no chemistry? like they're both great individually but i feel like have no chemistry with each other. it's the first time i've seen this! especially cause i think LXY has chemistry with everyone. i'm also not complaining for real cause i'm actually obsessed with this drama but i feel like they are very awkward together.
