I don’t believe the person who wrote this story or at least the script has ever been in a serious relationship bc I’m on ep 17 and you don’t end a marriage without having a single proper conversation. also ML and 2ML are supposed to run businesses but behave so unprofessionally in almost every context. this could not have been written by an adult woman. Nobody in the show behaves like actual adults and it's making me lose a bit of interest even though the characters are likable. Am I the only one who feels this way?
So, how does it work - supposedly it's highly FL-centric drama (at least based on how Novel was) - I understand…
i feel like it's the story of the ML as told through her perspective kinda. i kinda see the vision. I am arguably more excited that dylan wang is playing the ML than that ZY is playing the female lead. i understand why marketing markets that way. it kinda makes sense to me. plus what are romance novels if not a story of who the person falls in love with rather than the person who falls in love. i don't see an issue with it in this specific instance as a novel reader.
Mmmm doesn't matter. If the allegations are true, she should be in jail. If they aren't, she should have handled…
and believing you are somehow morally superior while you're on here telling people their brains have been eaten is the behavior of a good person? these people have read up on the situation and made their decisions just like you did. if they don't want to support her after reading about what she did that night and the following days then that is their right. just like it's your right to read about and believe in her innocence. but nobody is on here attacking people on a personal level except you. standing up for yu menglong in the ways that people have like not supporting the people who are remaining silent while being in the know about what happened that night is one way of doing that and there's nothing wrong with that. and she was there. regardless of whether she wants to admit that or not. the fact that that boy died a miserable death while attending a party she was in attendance at is still true. i personally have no intention of supporting anyone who is attending parties where murders take place. regardless of whether they are participating or not they are remaining silent. it's no different from how i feel about hollywood celebrities who ignored what was going on at diddy parties. that doesn't make my brain rotten. it makes me clear of conscience and means i have higher standards than bystander.
However on Douban JOL S2 is 7.3 with 371k user ratings and S1 was 7.9 with 1.16M while POJ 6.4 with 192k
that makes me feel better. the ratings on this site can be very exaggerated. very few things deserve a rating this high and while this is good it's not a masterpiece of writing by any means.
there's a lot of people in this comment section claiming there's no evidence of that but there is no smoke without fire and there is evidence she was there when he died along with a lot of circumstantial evidence that suggests she participated. but it all leads back to xi xing ping and his family so it's really crazy. very surprising she is still getting work after all that happened. but i'm just a girl so idk what is and is not true. just definitely unwilling to support anyone involved with the horror of that man's death. the whole case is insane and incredibly upsetting. it's hard to even think about it tbh
rewatching this and been on ep 11 for a few weeks now trying to build up the courage to watch the last few episodes again 🤣its so good and I need a good cry but the first time was crazy. give me strength!!
I am on ep 36 and I’ve really enjoyed it so far but the grandpa being literally second in command of the nation and thinking that’s not good enough so I must commit regicide is such a stupid convenient plothole. someone who has risen to his position would not be stupid enough to risk his entire clan for a tyrant who might murder him at any moment. it’s kinda ruining the whole plot for me 🤣
