For sure. I feel like for me, it's more that I need a motivator to get me through a long drama. Whether that's action that quickens the pace or romance. I will finish Nirvana in Fire but I'll have to find a time when I'm mentally in the mood for something plot heavy.

I disagree with this to an extent, as a person with ADHD, because if there are fantasy elements to a Chinese historical drama that's very long I have no trouble paying attention, but if it's just politics I do have a rough time paying attention. I want to get into Nirvana in Fire for instance and I found that difficult to binge, but I breezed through The Pillow Book.

Can someone explain why people like this drama? Kim Joowon is the worst person ever (for the first 14 episodes). He is an obsessive and demeaning stalker who both emotionally and sexually harasses Gil Ra Im. I don't understand why people like this.
