Can someone tell me if its a disaster to watch this before reading it? cause i want to read priest's novels eventually but haven't gotten to it. i don't have time to read a book so should i hold off on watching it first?

Title Joy of Life Spoiler
This ends with a massive cliffhanger, so I wouldn't recommend starting if you don't want to wait for a sequel
but like is it a painful cliffhanger? like you wish you hadnt watched it so early?

Can someone tell me if I should watch this before the second season airs since it's been delayed for 2 years? I don't want to wait if it's a cliffhanger

this drama is 10 years old, back then nobody give a fck about that. All the leads were the same.
I definitely cared about this 10 years ago.

Why do they mostly choose to remake the dark Yaoi ones, idgi
cause the unrealistic ones are fun.

does this get less depressing? I love park seo joon and kim ji won but they are suffering and it hurts. when does it become more optimistic?

I'm just popping by to say one of the songs on the OST is literally Pure Imagination from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

There are some really sad scenes which can make you cry.My sister cried several times while watching this. I didn't,…

I don't want to know what happens at the end, but is this shit going to make me Goblin cry? Like is everyone going to die multiple times?

I disagree with this to an extent, as a person with ADHD, because if there are fantasy elements to a Chinese historical…
For sure. I feel like for me, it's more that I need a motivator to get me through a long drama. Whether that's action that quickens the pace or romance. I will finish Nirvana in Fire but I'll have to find a time when I'm mentally in the mood for something plot heavy.

if the ml's character was written for a supporting role, it would turn into a nice psycho villain character! since…
so true!! but hyun bin is perfect it's not really his fault that kim joowon is a disaster of a character.

I've came to a conclusion: people with ADHD/short attention span- should not touch Chinese historical dramas.…
I disagree with this to an extent, as a person with ADHD, because if there are fantasy elements to a Chinese historical drama that's very long I have no trouble paying attention, but if it's just politics I do have a rough time paying attention. I want to get into Nirvana in Fire for instance and I found that difficult to binge, but I breezed through The Pillow Book.

FML I understand your pain with The Untamed if you hadn't read the novel. You totally should, but I am trying to bring myself to watch Empress Ki but I know all about what that first GIF means, and Ji Chang Wook is bae so idk if I can...
