Person Nam Joo Hyuk
he's improved so much since surplus princess. i hated han yian, but cheese in the trap was his redemption…
It's pretty good until the end. Last 2 episodes are REALLY bad. It is a very serious "slice of life" drama that doesn't go for the escapism. His character is like a ray of sunshine, though, so he becomes a very important character so there is something to feel good about. My 2 cents, at least. Definitely worth a watch if you like college aged romance dramas.

Person Cho Hye Jung
Totally adorable in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. Doesn't come across as tryhard with this character. Seems like a realistic portrayal of a specific type of friend

Dropped it at episode 3 because everything about the plot was irritating and main dude is an unethical sleaze. Also he has a massive cold sore in the beginning of episode 3 which didn't help his case any. I'm not going waste any more time on this show because I do not root for this pair.
On Bring It On, Ghost Mar 6, 2017
Oh man, the ghost girl is so annoying. I hate everything about her. Dropped at episode 10. Might come back to it at another time for background fodder.

Title He Was Cool
This was the second Korean movie I ever saw waaay back in 2004. The spicy noodle karaoke scene is forever imprinted on me. Recently just thought about that scene again and was sad to see that the actress killed herself.

arghh, I so wish it had 12-14 eps instead of 20. Shim Chung doesn't warn Ma Dae Yeong and instead leaves…
Same exact thoughts. Most of the last episodes were totally worthless and the plot meandered aimlessly after the main arch ended. I totally got fatigued by episode 14 and stopped enjoying it completely by episode 16.

Ah thank you for the answers. That's a bummer, I'd much rather hear the original audio but I can see how dialects would be distracting to Chinese viewers.

Title Eternal Love
I wanted to like this but I'm finding it very distracting since it seems like it is dubbed over in Mandarin....even though the actors are speaking Mandarin...? Am I missing something? Why don't the voices and mouths match? Is there a version with original audio? I'm watching on dramafever, btw/

I watched it because I wanted to see Min Ho act like a normal person and not a creepy rapist (like in Boys Over Flowers, bleck). Was not disappointed, however after episode 10 the plot goes way downhill and the characters becomes aggravating.

Title Stand Up!!
This was the very first Jdrama I ever watched back in 2004. Holds fond memories but I'll need to rewatch it to give it a more accurate review
On Bring It On, Ghost Aug 24, 2016
I'm on episode 4 and so far I like it buuuuuuut I think the girl ghost is irritating; dude is a saint for putting up with her
On Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo Aug 24, 2016
This show is one of the cringiest shows I've ever had the displeasure (and addiction) to sit through the whole thing. It starts off ok, so it gets you hooked, but her awkwardness really picks up and it keeps getting worse as the series goes on. By the time she enters college it's just unacceptable, the things she does! wtf! The entire time I wanted to scream at her and had to repeatedly pause the show to recollect myself from her self-inflicted awkwardness and it gets very hard to enjoy when you spend 90% of the episodes feeling so embarrassed for her.

Her friends are the absolute worse; usually the supporting characters help you get over the awkwardness but all they do is thrust her into one bad situation into another and give her awful advice.

Her token of affection is mean as heck and spends the entire first 7 or 8 episodes emotionally manipulating her. I don't know why I keep doing this to myself...I should hve dropped this after episodes but I couldn't stop watching!!
On Shut Up: Flower Boy Band Aug 23, 2016
This had the stupidest and most outlandish plot I've ever seen but I kept watching it because Lee Hyun Jae (the drummer) is the prettiest man I've ever laid my eyes on.
On Good Morning Call Aug 23, 2016
This show is addictive and high quality but there is no character growth displayed by the leads and the trail of heartbreak done by the girl lead makes this show very hard to watch. The guys who like her are way better than the male lead so it's hard to find him endearing or worth her many tears. She went from delightful to miserable as soon as he entered her life.
