Qi is already strong but her character is more of the cute and naive type. And yes, Jinzhao does take care of Qi because they are co-dependent since they have been together for 3 years without any memories of their past.
In the game, her default age after she falls into the mortal world is actually 3 years old. Even Jinzhao was sometimes stressed because Qi couldn't speak properly like a baby when they first met, but she learned how to speak quickly.
I don't think Qi will show her mature side anytime soon so it's understandable if you drop this unless you're willing to put up with Qi's character
I saw some said Xukai & Esther share same billing. Not that it really matters (for most intl fans) but Xukai is the first billing. This drama contract was signed before the airing and the success of LBFAD. They announced the leads in June 2022, LBFAD was released in August 2022
based on the game, Jinzhao had a hunch that Luo Zhaoyan is a female. Only Qi was unaware
If I'm not mistaken, when Luo Zhaoyan's gender was brought up where she later admitted that she is a female. Jinzhao's inner thought was that he had a hunch.

Yue Qi is a cute & naive character, plus the two main leads characters are teenagers. Esther will use her cute voice that stays true with Yue Qi’s voice like in the gameplay.

After Qi recovers, he tells Qi "I'm a selfish person. To me, your life is what matters. If saving someone means hurting you. I'd rather they die." - When Jinzhao asks Qi what their relationship is, Qi is confused how to answer because to her, he is Jinzhao. Jinzhao is happy as long as it's not brother. - When Jinzhao was in a coma for days, Qi didn't know what to do because she usually had Jinzhao by her side to guide her. Gu HanJiang told Qi to think about herself a little more, no matter how small it is, she shouldn't listen to everything others say. Jinzhao then questions Gu HanJiang why he told Qi about what she should do. - Gu HanJiang replied "Isn't that natural?, even if Qi doesn't know much about this world, being overprotective is not good" - Jinzhao replies that he still has to take care of her & he doesn't stand in the way when Qi plays with Shifang LOL. - When Qi began to be a little independent, Jinzhao realized that he is the one who couldn’t live without Qi. - Qi & Jinzhao have a lot of skinship especially head patting, cheek pinching and hugging as you can see on Reuters - Ming Xiu hates how Qi doesn't have an opinion on anything, letting others think about her problems. Qi said that Ming Xiu scolded her for her own good. - Jinzhao “We've been together for so long, we've forgotten how to live life alone. When Uncle Gu said you should think more for yourself, I think he meant for you to leave me” - Qi wanted to apologize to Ming Xiu but MX said she didn't want to talk to anyone so Qi wrote on a piece of paper to apologize [Sorry/ I didn't talk] while smiling (Yue Qi my lil baobao 🥺)
