that too! the budget needed for all the cgi/vfx effects to create the apocalyptic world of orv I think they don't have enough to recreate it

also I'm not confident in the cast at all except for Nana who will play Jung Haewon

animation like Solo Leveling/Lord of Mysteries would've done Omniscient Reader so much justice it's impossible to fit in so much of content and story into 5 movies alone it's not enough

I also believe that animation would be more suited with a continuous series for example Solo Leveling's anime is going to be released next year and Omniscient Reader would've been done justice with animation!

I don't usually manage to complete rom coms but this one was so nicely paced and written that I couldn't help myself from binge watching it

I agree with you but also I believe in Too much conflict spoils the plot and this is exactly the phrase you can use for this drama! there is too much of conflict and unnecessary involvement of Xu Qin's mother my blood boils everytime I see her arrogant toxic ass mom

actually YY's acting feels stiff too it is as if he is always frowning if not for the flashback of past where he is a high schooler laughing there is no other expression from him 😭 also his character feels stubborn like the FL's I can't take anymore of this like I've watched half of the drama yet I see no development
