I enjoyed this.

The writers could have taken this in a much darker black-mirror-esque direction around episode 4 and 5. Tbh, the series would have been much more unique and noteworthy if they had taken it down that route. Oh well, it was decent nonetheless.

First half of this show if very light-hearted, low stakes stuff. It's fun. You shouldn't take it too seriously. I appreciated the fact that there were any overt enemies or horrible people that got much screen time. There really isn't all that much in the way of conflict, so I'll just drop it when it gets too repetetive or boring.

Title Our Universe Spoiler
I see people arguing about who's the better parent, so here's my opinion:ML is handling the baby much better,…
The conflict between career and motherhood/raising a family seems to be a core theme. FL wants the career because it's something that she's been pursuing for a very long time. It's understandable to still have that dream, even if a one year old unexpectedly arrives.

To make matters worse, her boss seemed to hire her because of their previous relationship. There's certainly no garauntee that she would keep her job if he finds out that she has a kid and lives with another man. She has no idea how the SML/boss would handle it.

ML appears to be undergoing some character development, e.g. going ot the photographer's studio. But, that plan is compromised by the kid. He attempts to have both and the kid is hurt in the process. He drops the photography opportunity for the kid, but FL prioritized her career opportunity over the kid.

Idk, it's pretty shallow fun, even if it is predictable. I like it.

More like a spy / undercover in corporate genre with the twist of a 35 old acting like 20yr old
Thanks, that sounds fun.

I am interested in watching this but am curious, how would watchers rank the genre tags? More crime, more rom-com, more of a straight romance?

I don't think he knows that he and his friend swapped fate. For all he knows, his friend got into an accident,…
To be fair, you don't have to be super-intelligent to be a professional athlete.

Title Marry You Spoiler
why would you wish her to get back together with her ex. Didn't he have an affair/
Even if the affair "wasn't a real affair", FL still received the trauma and hurt as if it was real. the ML excuses are bs. you don't hurt somebody you truly love like that.

Title The Double Spoiler
when do the leads end up together?
not much in the first half. Lots of sexual tension in the third quarter. They are more officially 'together' in the last quarter.

Draggy ending, mediocre overall, 6.5.What was the moral of this story? That youth is fleeting and you gotta stress…
I agree - an overwhelming avg perhaps sub par experience.

Core themes and conflicts were not captivating, tired overdone tropes and storylines, and poorly written characters make this a justifiable kdrama to forget.

I didn't like episode 1 & 2. Should I keep watching?
FWIW, I thought eps 3 and 4 were much better than one and two. Maybe consider giving the next two a go before dropping completely? That said, it's possible that this just isn't what you're looking for, and that's a totally valid opinion too!

Title The Auditors Spoiler
Good good show! But these are the most active auditors ever lol. I used to audit big companies - all they did…
The auditors acting this way is not 'normal', but normal is rarely entertaining, hah. I will say that the chief auditor was brought in and given a super broad mandate. I don't think the audience knows exactly what was revealed to him, or hwy exactly he was hired. It's like a gangster/auditor hybrid was hired to get to the bottom of some of this stuff.

And tbf, Han Su is in his sixth+ month in the office. He's probably been sitting reading paperwork the whole time. That probably explains why he gets caught so far outside his element in the first couple episodes.

This definitely has an American drama vibe. I love that an issue is brought to the table and resolved in the same…
"the only thing I'd change is the out of shape, asthmatic, young auditor. 😂 someone get this boy a treadmill" I thought this was well done. If we are all being honest, most people working corporate office jobs are not idols that spend 3 hours a day at the gym. The fight scene in ep 4 was hilarious. He just gets swept aside. Very fitting. This guy's strength is not his running, fighting, or any sort of athletic skills.

Still confused about the VP's character. I mean, is he bad or good? hahaha I really don't get it.
My, possibly wrong interpretation, is that VP is a bad person. He embodies the saying, “You need to crack a couple eggs to make an omelette.” And in this case, the omelette is his company and the eggs are innocent people swept up into the corruption schemes. He is looking at this from a point of self-interest. If it hurts the company, but helps those who were wronged, he will oppose the action. If it hurts his opponents in the company, but helps those who were wronged, he will support the action.

Title The Auditors Spoiler
Very loosely, perhaps. Wasn't Mike Ross a prodigy hotshot in suits? Really can't say the same a Han Su. Maybe…
After watching eps 3 and 4, I still think Han Su and Mike Ross are fundamentally different character types.

Mike Ross is ego driven. He's a flashy hotshot guy whose ego as much as credentials got him to where he's at. Given the remarks by his co-workers, Han Su is/was extremely passive. Han Su got his auditor position from a family connection, rather than his own merit. He isn't ever trying to be the center of attention. He has strong ethical/moral principles. Given his actions so far, he wants to uphold those to the end, regardless of the 'correct' corporate action.

Also, you can't say that we should 'look at characters in 4d' while then going on to ignore two of those dimensions.

Let's look at character development arcs. Han Su is becoming empowered to stand up to his co-workers when appropriate. Mike Ross was a 'prodigy' that didn't have to deal with co-workers, or at the very least, was never passsive. They really are different characters, and a comparison between the two is critically lacking.

Title The Auditors Spoiler
Eps 3 and 4 are great. The show is hitting its stride, so to say. The characterization of the ML has

moved him from a simple keychain that hopes he accidentally gets carried to Florida, to a person with some strong moral/ethical views that don't always align with corporate culture and entrenched systems. He's been vindicated, imo.

FL finally got more screen time too, though the viewer still doesn't have much insight into her motivations and perspective.

Shin Ha Kyn continues to deliver as a stoic and cold authority figure that is fighting for justice, if nothing else. It'll be interesting to see how his backstory relates to his current character.

This is a solid 8-8.3/10 drama. It just doesn't have romance, so add half a point the MDL score.

At the very least, it will be interesting to see how she handles the conflict between the audit team and the. I agree, I want her to be a good moral/ethical character!
