Until some time back I used to stay n give such dramas chances to improve but I've realized that thr r many dramas releasing every day and if I don't drop the minute I realize it's bad, I'll never finish my bookmarks.

I blindly trusted these comments n thought this will some amazing drama but the FL ruined it. Even both the Lee actors couldn't make me watch after the 2 episodes.

That would be asking too much from the guy who is so busy in his life. He knows the other guy is easy or maybe this is their love where it doesn't matter if they stay in touch or not LOL

When I was new to MDL n thai dramas I got tricked by +ve comments and high ratings as well. Even if the lakorn dealt with r*pe, most users would term it as romantic and easily forgive the monster or blame the FL itself.
The ML would kidnap the woman, torture her endlessly then give her clean clothes or food, and everyone would go 'aww'.
And the way domestic help is treated in these dramas is horrible. Be it period dramas or those based in modern times.

I've come across so many thai dramas where the ML doesn't deserve the FL, he has no character development and yet he is rewarded with a doormat woman. It leaves such a bad taste seeing FLs with no self respect. I wonder if thai public enjoys watching such content. A drama made in 2017 can't give an excuse of 'those were the times...'
So now I'm very choosy when it comes to lakorns. Most dramas are aimed at women and yet it's women characters who are demeaned.

The FL is a smart woman and I love her for that, while the ML has rocks for brains. He was so unlikeable even after he started running after her.

The ML has the FL beaten up, strangled, and insulted. Was not man enough to properly apologize once he realizes his mistakes. Thankfully, she divorces him after wasting around 13 episodes.
ML's lady love is proven to be a bad woman, the FL is the one who saved him when he was a kid. So suddenly the toxic man realizes that he shouldn't be having an affair as he is a married man, and forces his way into the FL's life.
But such dramas aren't known for upholding the FLs respect, so I'll let it go.

Is there a similar c-drama but with actresses?

Had to pause at the 10th minute. The actress is not bad but the subs are. The FL says to the ML 'you touch my hole'. I'm sure this is not the correct translation 😂

Watched the 1st epi, I'm sure they didn't mean it to come across as funny but it was. Even the acting was hilariously bad. Dropped it. There are far better dramas out there.

This is why it feels as if the writer watch some old drama when phones didn't exist. No self respecting person would easily take back a person who disappears just coz he was sooo busy. How did no one in the team think about this? or Maybe they think BL viewers don't think

And the fact that Ryan has no issues with it. Drama writers should learn to move with times or else it becomes a joke.

It's as if the writer watched those old k-dramas where the ML would go abroad to further his career, the FL would sit and wait for him and they would not have any communication in the meantime as if phones or internet don't exist LOL

I'm halfway thru the 1st epi and already getting bored. Just coz many claim that a drama is great doesn't really making it amazing.

Hopefully they'll stay quiet lol

Feminism means equality but there r some fools who think that it means being anti-men, and I've seen some k-dramas where the FL is physically violent and fans love seeing it. Would we enjoy if the ML went around kicking people?

I won't be surprised if someday we find out that the producers got instructions to come up with such dramas in order to stop women from getting out of bad relationships, and help increase the population no matter what.

So true! One would think that only old dramas had such plots but it seems like there are many viewers who want those 'good old days' back so producers keep on giving us such crap. These days there are many mini c-dramas where the FL is even physically tortured by the ML but he gets a happy ending. And before some blind fan jumps in here, let me clarify, I won't support if it was the FL abusing the ML.

When I was new to c-dramas, I watched some dramas that had a common theme - the ML is rich and mean coz of some trauma or coz his parents didn't raise him well, then the shy sweet FL, who will be his secretary or under his debt, changes him with her love. I wonder if she would bother with a rude guy if he was poor LOL
Now when I come across such FLs, I roll my eyes and drop the drama instead of wasting my time.

I find it so weird when girls claim that the drama is classic and romantic, and wonder why it's not highly rated. Just coz bullying was thought as romance in those days doesn't make it right. Dramas that portray FLs as a rehab center for mean MLs are a major turn off.

I just hope these girls don't go around looking for toxic guys in real life, and will hopefully grow up. Even I have liked some bad dramas/movies. Now when I come across them, I'm like what was I thinking!

If I were watching such dramas some years ago, maybe I too would have like them and find them romantic? who knows...

Couple of years ago I watched the k-drama 'boys over flowers' coz almost every comment said it was amazing. I found it disgusting and problematic, and learnt not to trust others when it came to these dramas. Not everything old is gold LOL

I feel that their target audience is young girls who have the wrong notion of love, and these dramas work well otherwise why would producers keep on making more of them!
Earlier I would watch but now I don't hesitate to drop.
