I would have rated it higher but it quickly went downhill after such a great start. In the end, I was relieved it was over. Such a shame coz the actors were so good!!

Since 2020 I'm only watching dramas n movies from china, japan, korea, thailand and taiwan - both old n new, so imagine how many I have yet to finish. There are so many good ones that were worth watching again but no time :( j-dramas r even shorter, 5 or 8 episodes. they do look aged but their quality is so good that I'm amazed I didn't hear of them before!

I do the same. If it's my fav then I put more effort but if it's bad then it can't be helped. Untamed had 50 episodes, I don't think I've watched any 40+ drama in the recent years. If I do, then I end up skipping boring scenes, sometimes I watch the starting 5 and the last episode to finish it LOL

I first read the plot, then see which actors r in it. I try to stay away from horror lol Recently I started watching the chinese variety show 'keep running', it was amazing to see the actors being themselves and then other actors join as guests increases the fun.
the moment u mentioned dropping it, I laughed thinking at last I found someone just like me. You know, I tried to watch it twice n both times ended up dropping it :(

yes!! omg it was the costume that made me go wow. and like you said, they looked so classy, elegant, graceful. Vengo looked great and the FL was so good. She was so smart but never rude. in many dramas the FL is intelligent but she is not well mannered.
hahaha oh dear, I dropped 'special warfare' as well, haven't tried the doctor one. I feel bad when I drop a drama of my fav but sometimes it's just... recently I dropped Darren Chen's latest work. maybe some day I'll try it again :P

My 1st c-drama was Untamed and it was normal with dubbing but we all know about the censorship issue.
Then I watched another c-drama and there the FL spoke like a child, so 1st I thought the character had some mental issues but the story didn't justify it, so I thought it was the real voice of the actress. Then I realized that more dramas had the same voice. Imagine me trying to wrap my head around this hahahha
Then I read comments from fans that many actors are not trained as real actors so can't speak well, hence they are dubbed over. Some give the excuse of time constraint but that cannot be the reason why dubbing artists are hired. Dramas have more than enough time to get the actors to complete their job.
Same here, I'm also going to wait. Binge watching is the best. I loved the dramas so far, except for a couple of things but Vengo is just fine ♥ btw have u watched 'Miss S'? he is so good!!

Actually I still come across dramas where I lower the volume coz the FL sounds as if she never reached her teens. For the wrong sync yes, in a hurry to release, they would just release without checking. Now they take time for post production and many c-dramas can put the west at shame by their quality work.

I didn't pay much attention to the excursion plot coz it's a lakorn. So my focus was only on the romance. I'm glad the girls were not pulling each other's hair for some man. The acting was good.
Kate was the MVP. If she hadn't refused to marry the ML, he would have gone ahead with it. And then would have carried out his duties well while thinking of the FL. Only when Kate showed the courage to say no and told him how the FL actually felt for him, did he run after the girl. The guy never tried much on his own...
This was so cute!! The actresses did a good job. Wonder why GLs don't get much attention on MDL. There are many bad BLs out there but most people lap it up coz 'boys', 'boys kissing' and that excuses bad stories or bad actors. I myself watch BLs but quality is most important. There are so many well made and well acted korean and chinese GLs that go unnoticed...

I watched him in the first 3 epi of 'imagine me without you', he is so cute!! I wish all episodes were subbed coz that drama touched my heart. Can't believe the story is of a real life couple.
Writers finding innovative ideas to show the ML sleep with another woman and make it seem normal. Give him multiple personalities so that he can enjoy life and have a perfect excuse for it. The fact that it doesn't even bother him that he slept with the other chick is quite telling. The actor isn't good either so I wonder how soon it'll be that I drop this lakorn as well.
