The FL keeps running after 2 men. One who cheated on her with her best friend, the other who sleeps around with multiple women and disposes them once he is done and doesn't even want to take responsibility for the FL. FL stays friends with her disgusting bestie. The cheating guy is so magnanimous that he even helps the FL in her career. The way she oscillates between two bad men is amazing. Her character was so badly written that I didn't feel bad for her in even 1 episode.
In the end, both men are pulling her, she should choose both so that other men and women would be saved from such disgusting people.
The writer thought casting NY would nail the romance even if the ML was a jerk the entire time. Doesn't matter that he hated her coz of her dad. He was disgusting. No sensible woman would pick the ML, unless you grew up learning that if a man is rude to you then it means he loves you. The FL's servant loved the ML n kept telling the FL how adorable he is. It felt like the FL will be in his life to do duties that his dead wife can't. He kept dreaming about the dead wife till the last episode!!!
The Frenchman on the other hand was so polite and such a mature gentleman. He never raised his voice and always treated the FL as his equal. He listened to her and recognized her talent from the very start. Only a stupid woman will not choose him but a complete opposite. It felt as if the FL only used him to make the ML jealous and have fun. In the end he got friend zoned. I forgot who said it, but it was a woman in this drama who said something like, nice guys finish last.
Whenever there's a rape scene in a lakorn, I just know the rapist will get a happy ending with his victim. This shit is written for family audience. How nice! It was interesting how the FL has no problem that she was raped by the ML. She keeps loving him, later he appears with flowers for her and she hugs him. If you have seen even 2 lakorns, this is not going to be a spoiler. It's normal. Most viewers love it.
So basically another lakorn made to please rapists, and to give hope to potential rapists so that they think the woman will end up with them. Not interested.

I've learnt not to trust MDL ratings. I had come across a drama last year where around 90% of comments were negative but the rating was 7. I refuse to believe that they were quiet fans who just rated it high but didn't dare defend it in public lol
It was a struggle to finish the 1st episode itself. I can't stomach a woman being a servant for her in-laws, being stupid enough to not realize why her husband has stayed away from her for 7 years. It has nothing to do with her weight coz that doesn't relate to how much brains one has. Was she not loved enough by her own family? She clearly has a mom who cried at her funeral. So maybe it's parenting gone wrong.
She saw her husband with another woman and yet is so clingy that she starts smiling the moment she sees him. She begs the other woman to leave her husband. Lady your hubby made vows with you not some random chick. But nah, we are expected to feel bad for the FL coz she is fat, miserable and a doormat who is ready to stick by a loser cheating hubby.
The fact that such dramas show how a woman has to go thru surgeries to attract attention and get ahead in life, shows exactly what they are propagating. Otherwise why not show the amazingly beautiful fat FL not changing her outer appearance but taking charge of her life and showing the world that weight doesn't matter as long as it doesn't affect your health. But maybe the writers knew what most of their audience wanted to see and didn't have the courage to show otherwise.
The new slim FL arrives walking in a weird manner, smiling like a fool, and we're expected to believe that she is some pied piper who can make every man and woman fall for her. If only there was a surgery to give her brains instead. 🤣🤣🤣

Yes and how annoying. I'm on the 9th episode and a part of me does understand her not being able to move on but she just keeps barging in the ML's life and even he lets her walk all over while the FL is left standing like a fool. It has happened thrice so far, any sane woman would ask the ML to decide what he wants to do. But seems like the writer ran short of ideas and is stuck on those old dramas with boring love triangles.
ML tries to assault the FL, she saves herself by hitting him with a picture frame. He has no remorse and she's the one saying sorry to him for the injury. This can't be called a spoiler coz lakorns always have such attempts or successful ones and later the FL definitely falls for such a low life.

Ep9 and I just lost it. The ML makes the FL go down on her knees in front of her evil step mom with no fault of hers. Obviously the FL is hurt and crying but the drama doesn't want us to hate the ML so the background score is comical, wanting us to see this as a small matter. Does he want an obedient wife and that's why he is 'training' the FL by making her go through such humiliation? I'm not disregarding the fact that the FL deceived him first but most lakorns make their MLs do things that can't be forgiven and yet the FL gives in easily, maybe coz they're too easy? lol
