On episode 21 and the FL has become f*king annoying. She has lost her memory and it seems her marbles as well. People around her keep saying her name and she keeps getting violent with them, not using her brains to even think that maybe it could be her name. Why do dramas have to make strong FLs into dumbos by the end?
The FL tries to act cute but ends up looking mentally challenged. But maybe this is what the target audience likes. The ML's acting isn't great either. In a scene when the FL realizes when she'll not be able to time travel any more, the guy has no expressions, he just mouths the dialogs.
In an episode the ML threatens to beat the FL with a rattan while his mom threatens to do the same with the slaves. Good old days indeed when women and slaves had the same status. In a later episode he does hit her with a stick and the FL who has been brought up in modern times has no issues with it. She keeps jumping around him like a monkey(his words not mine) and doesn't even teach him how to respect women.
The ML enjoys all the attention from the other woman, then realizes FL won't be sharing him so cuts off ties with the innocent girl who was busy dreaming of her future but he gives sermons to the FL how women should behave around men. This ML was lying in bed being fed by the other girl coz he was hit in the head. Poor disabled boy. BS. The ML got attracted to the FL coz she was totally different from the women around him but till the end kept ordering her to become something she was not. The FL too came across as a girl who likes to be ordered around so she deserved this treatment.
Near the end, it got even worse. The ML went and stood by those rapist MLs who get a happy ending with the victim. The FL starts missing her mother and wants to time jump but the ML forces her to stay. Someone should separate this man-child from his mom, then we'll see how long he lasts. The FL is such a pathetic moron that she has no issues that she is basically a hostage and is happy when the ML claims he loves her. He is able to see the FL's crying mom through the mirror, but doesn't tell the FL fearing she'll want to again meet her family and friends. Wonder who thought such a ML will seem romantic to any sane woman.
It's not even an old drama that can hide behind the excuse that these things were acceptable a few decades back. Maybe the writers smartly showed how a horrible nasty man can trap a stupid girl and make her his puppet. Then praise her a bit for working hard, give her some jewelry and she'll do his bidding.
Just like there's a rating system for movies to tell us if it's fit for kids or not, likewise such dramas should mention that it's not fit for grownups. I somehow managed the torture for 10 minutes before dropping it.
I'm on the 6th episode and it's so disappointing. The FL is an adult and yet behaves like a child. Was this drama written to cater to little girls? There are more than 60 epi left, wonder how long I can last.
Typical story of ML approaching FL with a motive, but falls in love with her. FL later finds out the truth and understandably is hurt and lashes out at him, demands that he buzz off. Then the over-confident but weak FL gets in trouble and the ML has to come to her rescue. The editing was weird, seemed like scenes were cut off. The only plus point is that the movie was very beautifully shot.
The leads didn't have chemistry, and FL kept crying in every episode. Even in the last scene when the leads are together and at last have a kiss it was so bland. The actress looked so disinterested. It is an outdated drama, didn't age well. Hopefully no one takes inspiration from it and tries to recreate this drag fest.
I started with the present season (11) and now going back to watch all the seasons. This show is so much fun, I don't think I've ever laughed so much in my life.
I'm watching her in 'Miss Gu..' and she is far far better than many c-actresses who keep landing lead roles without much talent. Wonder how casting works in this industry...
I was watching the episode 'New Year's Eve Singing Compilation' where they were all singing. When it was Zhou Shen's turn, near the end it felt like the video cut abruptly. Is that episode really 21 mins long or is there any other link?

The way the other son would do nothing while his wife was insulted was not funny. Maybe thr r people who find it amusing. Just coz the girl was korean doesn't mean she can be mocked. She only leaves her hubby when she thinks he slept with the FL otherwise she was fine getting insulted, that too in front of her child!!
This was bad. I didn't even finish the 1st episode. Nothing to write about the acting. Watch only if you've finished watching all c-dramas and if for some reason, new ones aren't dropping.
I was really loving the movie. The story is sweet, actors are fine, the setup so natural. Thankfully the FL is an independent woman. She refuses to change her career or life for a guy. She doesn't want to follow him like a tail wherever he goes.
But somethings dampened my mood. The ML decides he wants to live in a different country and expects the FL to follow, she refuses and is sad that they'll be separated yet again. He doesn't care and is ready to leave until the grandpa makes him realize his mistake. ML goes to FL and claims he isn't leaving now coz 'you asked me to stay'. I thought it was the sensible old man who told him to be with the woman he loves otherwise he would have gone no matter how much she asked him to be with her.
