It's clear that he thought he was doing nothing wrong. He is in love with her and finds it comfy to not change the status. He is willing to let the world know that she is his gf. He loves her parents and they fill up the void in his life. What he did wrong was to assume that she will accept his decision about marriage.
He is used to people agreeing with him coz of his power and status. He took it lightly when the FL wasn't pleased by the trip incident coz she quickly moved on from it. For a CEO he can be quite clueless. His friends mentioned his marriage in front of his gf, FL clearly voiced her feelings about the other girl, how could he think it was not serious?! Most of the times it's the youngest bro who has more sense, it's as if the youngest one is more serious about not losing his gf.
I won't blame the other girl much coz ppl around her including the ML keep giving her hope and encouragement. If the ML would have taken the FL's words seriously and drawn a line between himself n the girl, things wouldn't have come this far.
It has become common in countries like Korea for ppl to not marry mainly coz of financial issues, it's no secret. But there are still ppl out there who want to commit and announce to the world that they r not single anymore. Marriage doesn't guarantee that your spouse wouldn't cheat but at least 'well meaning' friends and family won't keep trying to matchmake. Unless they are uncouth lol
I'm amazed how well written this drama is. I was fed up of childish FLs and young boys pretending to be a CEO.

It was wrong of him to hide that he didn't want to marry her. Yes there are people nowadays who don't want to marry but most people still date with the intention to marry. He should have made it clear to her before she got serious with him. I'm amazed at how the FL still stayed by his side. I totally am with you on the crying bit. If a girl doesn't truly love the guy then it wouldn't matter to her. I might have had tears then and there coz it was a big blow.
I didn't mind when the ML went with that other girl for business coz it was work. Though he could have called her to know what was going on. No one's that busy. But I choked when she rushed to the piano recital and saw him like that. He clearly learnt no lesson from the trip and thought it was not a big deal and she would come back running in his arms.
He didn't care if she would be embarrassed in front of his friends when the FL wouldn't be able to golf, then he didn't care how she would feel when everyone read he was supposedly going to marry another girl. But I loved when the FL found out he had been secretly sending gifts to her parents.
ML claimed that the other girl was no threat but after this episode if he still keeps her around him, in the name of business, then he is not worth it. Such men become worse as time marches on coz they start thinking that their gf/wife will accept even more than this.
I seriously can't wait for the movie. So many bts vids are making me curious as hell. Hope it's a good movie coz so far Yibo has made amazing choices!!

I'm so used to c-dramas that I know way beforehand what's going to happen. But Outsider is managing to surprise me. Only coz the FL is independent, smart and strong but never rude. Credit goes to the ML as well coz not many men can digest a woman who has her own mind. Since they're patching up quickly maybe when the inevitable breakup happens it won't be easy to get back together?
I won't name but I dropped a c-drama where they tried telling the viewers that the FL has become strong after being in prison for 3years but in truth she was so weak and stupid that I kept rolling my eyes. The ML humiliates her at the altar by playing a video of her dad's suicide news but after a few scenes she's happy with him. He forcibly kisses her and after 1 attempt to push him she starts enjoying it!! I kept wondering how Su Mo would have dealt with the situation before I dropped it lol
Within the first 5 minutes, ML kisses her forcibly, FL starts enjoying it before pushing him. Next scene he pushes her on the ground and walks out. Not my type of romance lol
I just love the FL. She isn't like those silly girls we see in many c-dramas who claim they don't rely on a man but they actually do coz they never try to progress in life or improve themselves. And I'm not talking about hair, makeup and dresses.
ML tells the FL they'll go for golfing, she quickly takes a crash course and still doesn't magically turn into a pro, which makes it so realistic. She is being made to feel lowly for dating a rich guy but other than a few dents she has stood her ground. I like how even after being in love she hasn't lost her identity. I know bad times are ahead, hopefully she'll stay strong.
This golfing incident did make me wonder what the ML was thinking. He knew she had never been to a golf course, did he not anticipate that she'd be embarrassed in front of his friends? How could be so clueless? And his friends talking aloud about his marriage, did they think the gf was one of those women who would be ready to be a mistress of a rich loser?
I love how these lakorns glorify women like this FL who'll run after a cheater then leave him for some time and take him back once he is done sleeping around. It sends a great message about how women should forgive a scum who must have contracted a lot of sexual diseases and possibly some kids from those women as well. After all a man would like a woman to forgive and forget. It's just 'men being men'. These writers should be awarded for coming up with such BS.
This was a comedy. FL's mom is basically a pimp and no matter what she does, FL sticks by her, lives with her so that mommy dearest can bring more trouble. FL lives by the motto 'keep your enemies closer' 😂 People like the FL choose to be miserable and deserve no sympathy, She kept crying like a fool the entire time, only showing her mean side to the ML who would keep rushing to her aid like a good assistant. She became an alcoholic but chose to ruin her life by living with mom. In real life if you ever come across a braindead woman like the FL run far away from her. She'll destroy her life and yours. Once we are near the end of the lakorn, suddenly 'mother of the year' claims she cared for both her daughters and whatever she did was for their own good 😂
Seems like producers have realized that no matter how bad a BL is people will still watch. They'll complain but watch it nonetheless. So as long as the viewership stays why wouldn't bad BLs come our way. Sometimes 1 episode is enough to judge how the rest will be.
This was a good watch especially coz of Tor and Ice. I very easily cry while watching dramas or movies but honestly this one didn't drive me to tears. And yet it wasn't bad at all. I did wonder if Aood really was selfish coz he scratched the wounds of his exes who might have moved on and he landed in front of them just to ease his guilt.
As for Prim - I'm hoping that after that ending she tells Boss that it'll be better if they stayed friends and nothing more. You never know when some of his children might appear after all the women he was involved with. If not then I'm not generous like her. Maybe there are women out there who'll keep loving a guy who quickly trusts a stranger over their girl friend, starts sleeping around after a break up without bothering to even find out the truth. The excuse can't be that he was immature coz he was mature enough to grab women and 'enjoy' life.
Him frying himself on the massage chair was too good to see. Thinking of what job and sports he does her gesture…
Yes that's what I had thought n wanted someone else to confirm. I really really want those losers to be punished. What they did was not funny. In real life, we know the FL wouldn't be lucky enough to get out of such a situation without being molested.
1 thing that I loved with the casting of Vengo is that he does look like a CEO, there r countless c-dramas where they cast a young idol for a CEO's role and it's just not realistic. Specially coz they never seem to work and get a secretary who is a baby voiced FL lol

exactly!! from the very 1st day the leads met, we can see how she surprises, amazes and impresses him by just being herself. She remembered what her dad told her about money and then boom starts sending him stuff and then his 'fight' with his bro over who uses the chair hahahha
I honestly wanted the girl to get a tough lesson. She was the mistress no matter how much she kept telling herself and others that the fiancée was the other woman. It was clear he would choose money over everything no matter what.
Like u pointed out there are things raising questions but there is something from a past episode that I don't understand. Maybe you can help, the FL was drunk when the 2 men had her appear in the ML's bed, did they simply move on from that incident? I know the FL is a sensible, practical woman and yet...
There are far worse dramas out there, I've dropped many within 10 minutes of watching. The Outsider is not flawless but it isn't the the worst either. Don't go looking for teenage romance or one where a grown up FL talks like a baby. You'll definitely be disappointed.
I'm on the 23rd episode and I actually thought that money will be something the leads will fight about. But the FL dealt with it so well but I can't stop smiling. I just loved how she once again managed to capture the ML's heart. The ML and the youngest brother's scenes are something I always look forward to. As usual Vengo's expressions are just yummy :D
Love XZ and it's my first time seeing RM. I feel like individually the actor/actress are great but the chemistry…
Same here!! XZ is a fantastic actor, I've never seen the actress before so I started watching with an open mind. But there is no chemistry and I won't accept excuses like 'the ML is aloof' or 'FL is playing a child in these episodes'. When 2 actors have chemistry they just have it.

I started watching coz of Vengo and I'm glad I did. It's really different from the many childish workplace romance dramas.
