IKR!! so many c-dramas cast young actors only coz they r famous without bothering to check if they even fit the role. Vengo's body, body language screamed CEO. Yes he wasn't monotone, he was serious at work and funny when needed.

the opposite of what I wrote lol so basically a FL who has a normal voice, is serious about her career, has dignity, dresses professionally. Vengo does look like a CEO. FL actually working hard instead of relying on the ML to help her every step of the way.
FL's scenes with her cousin and ML's scenes with his brothers were cherry on the cake. Elders are not black/white, so money will tempt them but they are not evil who will want to sell off their daughter to the highest bidder...
Do not watch this if you are looking for a childish drama, FL with a baby voice, FL whose sole aim in life is to get a rich bf, FL who is forced to be the ML's secretary so that he can order her around and romance her, FL with no ambition for her career, FL who dresses like a child in office, ML who is a young actor cosplaying a CEO. If that's what you are looking for then you'll be disappointed and then your negative review will confuse others whether this was a good drama or not.
This was not a flawless drama but when compared to most of the c-dramas set in office environment, this was way better.
Victoria's character dies, so in that regard it was very sad for me. Otherwise the 2 guys are alive...
I only started watching c-dramas since 2020, so many actors yet to be discovered... Lately I started watching variety shows and I always look forward for my favs as well. We find out a lot about how they are, their attitude towards fellow actors when there's no actual script. I don't think one can pretend to be nice all the time, the mask will fall off. So I can totally understand why you loved her while watching the show even more :)

This was the 1st time I had seen Victoria and my gosh, she instantly went to my fav actresses list. Do not wait and start watching.
I totally get you. When we already know such an ending it starts hurting even before we start watching. Back then I had no idea and I never expected the drama to break the trio. I started watching it for Yibo but loved it all. It's not too much of boring monologues or politics, but brains n brawns working. Hope this helped :)
It's a fashion these days to jump to any conclusion and show off how much we care about issues without bothering…
Hopefully these are silly young girls and they'll grow up or else they'll suffer with such an attitude in real life. One should have the courage to at least write a sorry after making a mistake. It's so easy to slander someone and run away!
