I also hope that South Korea will make its contents more diverse! I'm not sure if Viki originals ever broadcast…
i love how our both beliefs make sense and can be assumed to have happened,, (lol we both have four points each) but yeah i get where you're coming from also! yes, let's hope for the best for the ending :D

yes the testing the waters seems like that really may be the strategy at work here,, I hope so
also with respect to the kiss, I think they did because of a number of reasons: 1, after Tae Joon started to lean down, the camera cut to Kim Pil Hyeon. and then we see him staring for a solid few seconds before reacting. that reaction and his urgency to not let anyone see really made me believe it happened
2, after Gook pushed Tae Joon away, they acted really out of breath ?
3, later during the sparring scene Tae Joon said "I shouldn't have done that", to which Gook said "then why'd you do it?" and triggered that whole (heartbreaking) confrontation
4, I also remember Gook saying something along the lines of "you really do what you want"
also guys I noticed in THE scene (in school when they ,,kissed,,) in the back ground behind Kim Pil Hyeon, the hilarious (but we stan a supportive bud) guy who witnessed THE scene, there's this black car parked that could have been placed by han tae joon's father,,
but I'm double guessing myself whether or not that may be
I mean that's the perfect korean-esque set up for plot building and it may have been if there were more episodes left, but I highly doubt it'll go down that path since we've only got two episodes left,,
two episodes left guys, mark my words, we're gonna get that happy ending ┻━┻︵└(՞▽՞ └)
sir, can you imagine if this was a completely fleshed out 16 episode kdrama with devlopments, side stories, back stories, supporting-characters' arcs,,, can you imagine if we got to see kang gook being hopelessly in love from episode 1 with his internal dialogues and actually witness han tae joo's love blossoming. like can you imagine more sparring scenes but each one gets increasingly tension filled until the climax,,,
this is already so well done even if they censored it a tiny bit (i'm not even mad the kiss scene wasn't shown), count on korea to always be out here doing it ;-;
but here's to hoping in the coming times, production teams can broadcast their scripts to their heart's content, here's to that quality diverse, lgbtq+ content we deserve and would wholeheartedly support
sir, can i just say i love the editing, so refreshing
i'm really pleasently surprised and proud that they have me so emotionally invested with only two episodes,, when i heard "babe", my reaction mirrored cairo's ;-; gosh
the hair washing scene was projected in a way that looked so incredibly intimate that it had me blushing,, i had to pause it because i felt as if i wasn't supposed to be witnessing it ;-;
when lgbtq+ content goes even a little bit mainstream in the production sector in korea, we're all gonna die guys ;A; our hearts won't be able to take it, i'm telling you now
thank you for this informative article! it persuaded me into adding all to my ptw <3 i'm especially interested in zhang qi ling's character,, and the fact that the most of these dramas are not based on romance is a huge plus uwu
(also i'm screaming at the completely unnecessary first comment someone made on your article,, lsfjklsjlfkdj why would they?? dkjfnsjknfj)
hey guys quick question~ i've seen a few comments about platonic relationships,, is this drama a highly romantic one? how much % would you say this drama is based on 'romance'? (i'd like to watch it sometime but i'm not a big fan of main themed bg romance dramas anymore, something platonic would be right up my alley uwu)
I literally only ever hope the main mls don't end up with girls in these Chinese bl adapted dramas, they don't even have to depict their relationship openly or at all (TU spoiled us all) just don't end up with girls, that's all I ask, China,,

but idk that's my view on it,
I am ready, I am beyond ready, if this is a win for the lesbians, we're all here for it (人*´∀`)。*゚+
but I'm double guessing myself whether or not that may be

yes exactly 10x better would cause me to spontaneously combust and then reform lmao

the format is so cleanly done and refreshing <3 the actors are promising and the plot has also caught my attention,,

(let's go minimal/absent romance fans ୧(^ 〰 ^)୨)
thank you for your answer, i appreciate it! then i might just give it a shot :D
