Sorry to say this, but she ends up with no one. Yu De Lu and her decide to stay as friends at the end. But I kinda want to take it as an open ending for them, 'cause I refuse to think they went their separate ways.

I can't believe haters are still keeping a tab on this drama's rating. It was going back up slowly, but someone mentioned its new achievements, and now you can see it went down.

OMG, I just saw a TikTok video, and some comments are starting to voice their worry for her because of Lin Yi's next drama with this specific actress. They say that because of this actress' fans, Shen Yue and Dylan's friendship basically got destroyed, and Shen Yue had to go through a hard time with all the hate comments. I can confirm how vile these haters were towards this beautiful actress based on the replies I got on my comments defending her on Youtube. Now I hope Shen Yue and Lin Yi stay close friends and hope she doesn't have to receive all that hate again from Lin Yi and that actress's fans and shippers.

To his defence, most c-actors (I'm not saying all) I know are skinny actors tho. Some even struggle to carry their FLs.

Wow, I just watched a video of Shen Yue sprinting, and it mentioned she was rushing from her filming location to join the live session with Lin Yi. That poor girl was so busy, yet she ensured she didn't leave him to do it alone. Now, I really want to see more of them together. I need another drama featuring both of them as the leads!

The breakup in this drama is not as bad as most breakups in other dramas. It doesn't mention how long they've been apart. It almost feels like lovers' quarrel because he keeps tabs on her. Even tho they are not officially together, this drama still does give the viewers a feeling of love between them.

I noticed that too. But, in the early episodes, she was living in an already cluttered apartment. That is why LDW rented a big truck, but she basically took just a few boxes of things. That is why I am assuming the apartment itself already had those things because even the hallway is cluttered to the max with old stuff. I even thought at first LDW was installing the camera inside her actual apartment, but it was in the hallway.

I believe SY just made a special appearance in the movie.

I love watching fmvs of drama couples. I've been checking YouTube almost every day for FMV, but nothing. Tencent copyrights everything. I tried it, and it got blocked everywhere. You can only see a few old shorts, trailers, and teasers. They don't even upload behind-the-scenes videos of this drama on Youtube. It almost seems like Tencent intentionally doing everything to stop this drama from succeeding. Strangly, this one channel's been uploading the episodes, but someone said it was illegal. But wonder why those episodes are still up and not getting copyrighted.

not just the first episodes. It is every time someone mentions the achievements of this drama, haters flock here to downvote it, not to mention its oven broadcasting network did basically the opposite of promoting for this drama so another drama can stay on top.

I'm sad that after this drama is over, we likely won't see these two interact with each other or participate in activities together 😞.

Exactly my question. I just can't believe WeTV and TENCENT literally are not promoting this show at all. WeTv is promoting two shows specifically and Tencent one drama specifically. Everybody knows what they are. If I were one of the main lead actors from those dramas, I'd be pissed and feel insulted knowing their favorite broadcasting company doesn't trust in their talent; they have to not promote other dramas to make sure they're drama reaches the top without any competition. They are copyrighting every fmv of Smile Code on YouTube. Tencent and WeTV YouTube channels don't do any promos for this drama except a few trailers. Luckily, Smile Code is doing wonderful without any support from them.

No. It is highly unlikely that they will collaborate on another drama in the future. The chance of them working on another drama together is slim to none.

Exactly. Its not a typical cdrama even the cinematography is like a movie for each episode They even managed to fit in funny jealous bits in a very melo scene with a melo background music 😂. Ref: Ep18, minute mark 16:10 - 18:20.

Tho it is good news, I just can't help but expect rating on MDL go down after such news.
