So the loyal and righteous Soo Jin, who sticks up for her friend and wards off people who make her friend uncomfortable, will be reduced to a typical jealous SFL? Is that the direction the drama is going? I know this drama has a lot of cliches and troupes, but I felt like it was part of the comedy. I really liked how Soo Jin was a female friend to Su Ho. I think it would be nice to show how Su Ho lets people in his life and has his own take on how he shows he cares for people.

I'm curious to see how Soo Jin's character will develop in the drama since it seems like her characterization deviates from the webtoon. She does not seem to have a crush on Su Ho or seem to be fake to Joo Gyung. There were some maaaybe bread crumbs with her being envious and a little annoyed that she is second to Su Ho in grades. I have a feeling she might end up being paired with Seo Jun, just based on how she had a scene of standing up to him.

Sadly I feel like they're going to force it more later on to make it seem more relevant.

I think the story is leading him to an evil path to help his sense of self-worth. In the first episode, his aunt mentioned something about hoping he doesn't get led astray on a whim. Common foreshadow and troupe, in my opinion.

TBH, I skipped most of Tae Hee's scenes. But from I watched and remember, it seemed like she was just hanging out with Shi Hyun and the group, which is fair and appropriate when trying to be in a relationship with someone. I feel like Shi Hyun was the one who cracked the relationship by not telling trio how he really felt and what he was doing.

I like the way the ending scene was shot; many mixed feelings from the different parties involved. I think it will propel the divide mean the two MLs. I think this episode shows how Hae Hyo is only pursing FL only because she likes his best friend. When he was chasing after him, he only remembers how much she likes Hye Joon and not interactions of THEIR relationship. He also said he dislikes people who can't spell properly (i.e. when she misspelled asap - it's weird to add that scene if not to show that she's not his type). I actually found the manager annoying this episode. I get that she's quirky, but she needs a level of professionalism for people to take her seriously; she also shouldn't have freaked out in front of Hye Joon minutes before his audition. Also, did they really have to throw an ex-girlfriend in the story line? That along with the forced love triangle makes this a little too cliche.

Yeah, I think i could do without the over complicating of relationships. It's so frustrating. I think Hae Hyo just likes keeping Hye Joon in his shadow. As the rich boy, he felt grounded and down to earth having a middle class best friend but does he actually want his best friend to surpass him? I feel like that's the direction they are going in, with the way they shot the parallel between family celebration/meeting scenes.

The drinking scene was a tad bit too troupey for me. She seemed like a handful to be honest, especially for a newly made friend. Like, he had to carry all her stuff, make sure she was walking safely in the street, sit in the middle of street while she cried. I am glad that they didn’t include a drink kiss scene though.

I love how easy the relationship started. Life is already complicated as it is; we don't have make the love an intricate cat-and-dog romance like most dramas have. I'm glad to see that they're not randomly bumping each other all the time and making it seem like their whole life is consumed by each other.

Anyone know why it's not out or have a release date yet? The trailer has been out for a while. Not sure if this is normal for C dramas, since I just started following upcoming shows, but isn't there normally a timeline?

Watched up to ep 8, so far. Love how fast paced the show is. I feel like all the typical predictable story progressions were already packed in. Most of the gender bender shows would have dragged it out until the very end, which just makes it boring and frustrating.

Yeah, I like how all the stuff he does to her is benign, but when it comes down to it, he’s a nice person. Also like how he found out about her secret early on and isn’t following the trope of blackmailing her for the humor aspect of the drama

I guess that’s a good sign. I just don’t want to be hold onto the hope of 2020 anymore if it’s confirmed 2021

Where did you hear that it was confirmed 2021? I can't seem to find it.

So far the timeline and story seems choppy. The reasoning behind the characters' actions don't really make sense and just convenient/lazy to moving the humor/romance along. Will continue to watch for Yibo, but don't have much expectations. Hopefully it gets better.

It's not just you. She only pursued Ao Ran because she wanted to have leading lady benefits and projected Tian Xing onto Ao Ran. Meanwhile her friendship with Qing Feng was authentic and mutual.

I'm guessing you mean the girl who keeps calling and acting like yan mo's girlfriend? She ends up with someone else, and there wasn't a big fallout between her and the rest of the cast.

Was waiting for a different Wang Yibo drama to be released, and then this one came out of no where haha. Guess it will help with the wait

So everyone is just going to have amnesia? I remember growing up being scared of getting amnesia because it seemed every drama had a character get amnesia towards the end. I thought we moved past that lazy troupe.
