I was wondering why she did that too. I'm assuming, it's because even when the Grandma came to visit and help her out, she couldn't shut up her praise about Ye Xiwu, kind of rubbing in Ye Bingchang's face that her favored grand daughter is doing so well off compared to YBC.

I agree. I totally understand why Bingchang and Minglang do what they do. But Tantai Jin and Ye Xiwu are so confusing to me. I have no idea the logic behind some of their actions.

Right, and what was the point of Ye Xi Wu showing so much care for Xiao Lin and trying to help him escape. They pretty much don't have any type of relationship to begin with. But what about her sister, I know she's evil but Ye Xi Wu never experienced much of her evilness thus far, but Ye Xi Wu acts more like she doesn't know her sister and like they are not related in any way. Yet she's working so hard to save Xiao Lin all of a sudden. If anything, she's destroying the relationship she worked so hard to build up with TTJ. Like I don't care for her to save Ye Bing Chang or anything, but I don't understand her logic.

Yeah I agree. I'm not sure that draggy is the right wording. But it feels more like a costume drama sitcom for lack of a better word. I like it but I guess I prefer more plot heavy dramas. 😊
