Ep 23 - first real flirting Ep 25 - meet up again Ep 37 - proposal Ep 38 - cute truth about his scheming to marry…
There are quite a few kisses - but even more than that the romance between the two is so believable. Must have something to do with the fact they are married in real life =)
why do you even need to post such huge spoiler here is beyond me
Lol chill. There is the spoiler tag on it for a reason. The comment was less about the spoiler and more about the result of the spoiler and wanting to share that with others. Don’t click on it if you don’t want to see spoilers haha.
Omg noooo Seungi was the murdererrrrr! I loved his chemistry with the team so much and so bummed this means he won’t be back in the same way for another seasonnnn noooo!!
It’s so awkward that Ahn Jae Wook is basically edited out of every scene he is in. It’s so obvious that they are avoiding showing him, I feel like I notice it almost every minute. It makes me a little sad.
I get that he was caught drunk driving but like wow, what a punishment.
I was hesitant to watch because historical dramas have concubines does the ML have any concubine I don't like…
He does get one concubine after the mains get married but he doesn’t spend a single night with her and ignores her at every turn. It’s actually sort of funny. He even gets angry at his wife when he feels she is not the right level of jealous over the situations. It’s super cute. He was a bit of a playboy in this youth so when he marries Ming Lan he is extremely faithful to her and sleeps only with her. It’s almost like he got it all out of his system and now that he has met the love of his life that’s it for him. He loves her A LOT. It’s impressive.
It takes a while for the main couple to heat up so.... For those of you who are early in and came for the romance…
Ep 23 - first real flirting Ep 25 - meet up again Ep 37 - proposal Ep 38 - cute truth about his scheming to marry her Ep 39 - cute acceptance Ep 40 - wedding
Onwards they are married and so so adorable and amazing together.
That’s what I’m thinking as well, and Dan Oh might’ve been the female lead. I thought of that when Haru…
I'm completely with both of you! My theory is this:
All of the characters in this were in a previous comic by the writer, but they formed consciousness and went against the writers terrible writing and made their own choices. This was most likely lead by Haru/#13 (who was definitely the main character - explains his handsomeness) and Dan Oh. In that comic I also think Haru and Kyung were either brothers or best friends bc it seems like Haru cares for him on some level (when he protects him from the basketball).
As punishment I think the writer rewrote the comic and changed up the characters. Now Haru is a no body and has to watch the love of his life embarrass herself and chase after a one sided love that is actually his old best friend/brother. Dan Oh's punishment is to chase after a boy who hates her and also to die from a heart condition. Even though they don't remember their past lives I bet the writer is getting pleasure out of seeing them suffer. I also think the writer is even using Dan Oh and Haru's past love story to stomp on Dan Oh - like I bet a pivotal cute interaction between them when they made their own choices in the old comic was her giving him that key ring they found buried under that building. And now the writer has written her a scene where her hopes are smashed with...a flower key ring, turning a good memory (I use the term loosely as she doesn't actually remember lol) sour.
I also think they are trying to make us think Dried Squid is the writer or he is evil but I don't think he is - I think its just misdirection. My guess is he remembers everything from the last comic and is afraid they will mess it up again and everyone will suffer and thats why he is coming down hard on Dan Oh when she mentions changes to the comic. I'd say he is actually an okay guy. This I feel less certain of this though, I could be wrong.
Personally, I'd love it if the writer was actually Yeo Joo Da. And that she was the main character in the last comic and was supposed to end up with Haru but he chose Dan Oh so she rewrote it all with a new main to end up in a happy romance and punish her enemies. It also sort of makes sense as to why Dan Oh is a bridge for the mains love, having to constantly watch Joo Da in a successful romance - almost rubbing her face in it. That would be a cool twist.

Cool, so maybe he's just super picky with this stuff? Not as fun as a secret life but also so understandable! haha. Thanks for the comment!!
