Informa: an underground informant known for being secretive and having solid data on political, business and entertainment world. A request to a publishing company to cover the work and story of the Informa brings us to meeting the second character: A journalist, who writes gossip and trashy articles revealing the private and scandalous lives of celebrities. Premise is good.
Short under 30 mins. Maybe it is better to binge it, it took me nearly 2 weeks to finish lol.

Story could've been better if they gave purpose or reasoned the existence of characters, lacks proper execution.
Feels empty though visually good, the action is okay, cast good. It doesn't really explore yakuza culture much. It tried to cover and involve sensitive topics and an emotional connection while making characters disparaging and showing us their circumstances but failed to deliver it for me.
Pretty underwhelming overall. The journalist (one of the mc) feels like a character with no meaning in this plot tbh.

I liked the first 6 eps, rest all dipped imo. Shin-hye's best performance easily. But, i just hated the later half and couldn't bring myself to finish this. Such a bummer it went to the route of rom, but it is made an essential with the prophecy being either of them dies, calling for an intertwined relationship which is forbidden much and burdening and scaling their lives against one another.

I couldn't feel a tinge of chemistry and it felt forced, like how did you catch feelings and go that far? You can't define distinguish if it's out of bloodlust to murder the sk(serial killer/the satan) or out of pursuits and protection of her and their love.

Just boring and the valato wtever she was had good expressions that I'd poke a fork but she gets discarded and sided off, she was at least a bit interesting. Bael is like another character i have a no say to, he is just a plot device idk the ending so god knows what goes there(gods of hell prolly- isn't that him...nvm) her assistant/servant forgot his name was a funny and the cleaning service men too

Also the whole det team adds no value later, it was good to see dynamics and fun banter before. Even with dan-oh and bitna we had a few worthy interactions where they had just different stances in opinions and moral working.

Few things that is worth the mention is how we get a perspective into the Victim's families and affected parties, remarkable acting by the 6th/5th ep killer dude who faked DID, her outfits mwah.

She rejects him initially, later he gets drunk and she receives a call for picking him up she goes; his drunken ass whines seok-ryu says let's talk after you are sobered up. She abandons him however, later goes back he's sobered up they talk it out she is scared that it might(cancer) recur. communication and acceptance of proposal btw he proposed her with a bracelet.

Mo-eum and Dan-ho also start dating, mo-eum's mom after being against the idea pesters her daughter not to get together with him. After seeing them happy together and a bit of confrontation with mo-eum her mother allows it.

Choisseoung and sek-ryu mothers fight as you might know the labender team planned on a cruise trip but it is expensive for Mi-suk so Choisseoung mother says she will cover it so she should join them with the trip, mi-suk offended by that speaks up they pull hairs out fight badly.

Also Choisseoung and seok-ryu get caught as they hug after she accepts his proposal by all their parents. How?
The fathers(Choisseoung and seok-ryu) get together and drink talking about how their wives are angry and all, get drunk and someone the wives get calls on how they are hanging out together, annoyed at that both rush to the store and collect their husbands and help them home and see them.

Agreed!! They focused more on letting us on the characters that they failed to properly deliver the feelings, thought process and moments in between that would make it feel more evident of the love in between or beginning of it, it feels almost forceful few times. Even with the recent 1 week apart thingy they vaguely made it out like without choisseoung nothing is tasty the analogy was repeated from earlier when she goes to the sunflower field to confess nothing is intresting without you, felt flat too though it looked beautiful not irrefutable.

Why is mo-eum's mom acting like this now, when she said "go make some grandchildren like this"; "she is so reckless who will take her" not the exact context but said similar things a lot more. The hypocrisy tsk tsk.

The fact that dan-ho was not a single father and how the show baited us to believe that he was in the end just to suit viewers who might be disapproving of it is disappointing already now when her mother finds out bout it she would be either be entralled maybe still against it because if she did think as how her daughter's job is challenging and laborious, she is also aiming to go to south pole choosing to be his partner would be hard for her if she is thinking this way i will let her pass.

Yeah, it's different. There he'd make contracts when expired collects their lives, here she is sending them to hell as a punishment she recieved not like taxi driver either as the victims reached out to the service with a motive to get revenge and the team avenged them.
