I have to say, I really like the ML here; such a breath of fresh air compared to the softer MLs we see these days. He's truly a tyrant, and I love it! I also adore the FL; she comes across as kind, talented, realistic, funny, and loud.

No shade to those who prefer those other MLs! just personal preference

Are we still on the age issue..it's not even an issue..plenty of dramas have male leads being ten years and more…
It's not an issue; no one genuinely cares about the age gap except for a few ragebaiters. Just ignore it.

Harsh words, threatening to kill her at every turn just to hide the fact that He's falling for her, it seems. But…
What the heck, he’s not even close to falling for her yet. He just loves her cooking and thinks she’s a pretty interesting woman.

i'm in the same boat as you and tbh i just zone out during the court politics parts if it doesn't directly concern…
The court politics are so interesting to me, especially the villains, and Kang Han Na's character is super entertaining from just the few scenes she's in.

The main plot like this is actually quite generic. But whatever, the most important thing is the execution. I…
I think it was more of a character writing issue rather than her performance in K2. I remember not understanding the hate for her acting in the first few episodes of K2, but yeah, her character and acting definitely went downhill as the show progressed. From what I’ve inferred, her strength lies in comedy. She was decent in Big Mouth overall but really shone in the comedy scenes.

I didn’t expect this drama to do well at all it’s top 10 on Netflix, maybe because nothing interesting is…
k-Romcoms on Netflix, especially those with at least one popular lead, decent synopsis tend to dominate in their first week. If they are funny, engaging, and backed by good production, strong chemistry, and no other competition, they often maintain their popularity throughout their run and even beyond. nothing groundbreaking is required.

The evil priest is by far the most intriguing character and the standout actor so far, lol. Honestly, who would have expected that with this star studded cast?

It's decent overall. I really love the beautiful cast, especially Regina Lei and Kang Mina, but the writing is quite disappointing. The fight scenes are decent though.

This director is one of my favorites. Directors in Kdramas often don't get enough recognition, but those who pay attention know that he does an outstanding job, especially with "W" and "Reborn Rich." The direction in both was truly stunning.

He's one more reason I'm thrilled about this drama, along with the amazing cast.

Ma Dong Seok being credited for screenwriting is definitely unexpected lol.

My expectations were pretty average, and yeah, Episode 1 was decent (always love seeing Don Lee kicking ass tho). It’s not mind blowing/epic, but it should have been, especially considering the cast and story idea. It was watchable, with decent action scenes and cgi, good cinematography. Park Hyung Sik’s entry was the highlight of the episodešŸ‘šŸ‘, and while some humor landed, some didn’t.

Overall, it’s mid. The character introductions could’ve been better, but I get it, they were just fighting humans, so there wasn’t much need for supernatural action scenes or the zodiac animal stuff. That’ll probably come in later episodes.

Seo In Guk feels like a forgettable side character.

Regina Lei’s smile thoughšŸ˜ (and that oriental medicine scene was funny).

Kang Mi Na’s action part looked great, it seemed well practiced and fast (if she did it herself).
