I absolutely loved Episode 2, it really gave an insight into the characters and their feelings. The ML isn't bad and neither is he stuck up that he just wanted to reject her and use her. His feelings are presented pretty well and you can start to see the logic in whatever he does or he did. Although cliches are there, they are well presented and even digress from them in several places., It isn't bad as the summary shows it to be, you should definitely give it a chance and see if it suits you
Ohh come on , how will characters develop in one episode?
I don't mean the development of characters, I meant the spark of her development. The end of episode two depicted her trying to pick herself up and move forward emotionally but cutting him off... which is a pretty good start
Damn the summary is messed up, but the first episode is actually really good. Just a thing, the summary was penned down based on the highlight video and is not the official synopsis, so I am not too sure how correct the entire misunderstanding trope is
I definitely enjoyed the first episode way more than I was expecting to. Both characters have their own ups and downs and uniqueness. I don't think Wooyeon would be as much as a pushover as the summary shows. Her character is definitely going to become a lot stronger as she comes to the present.
I hope this is a cliche with a twist, although the summary sounds overused and done with, there is a potential to make it fresh and exciting. There is an entire dynamic with their friend group that can be tapped into and their unique professions can be a plus point.
This is such a well-written article, brilliantly articulated the pros and cons of each drama using food as a metaphor. I usually rotate between neighbourhood restaurants and 20-course meals with hints of Fusion Food Running Sushi.
This one is totally to your tastes. I recommend giving the first few episodes a chance before deciding whether…
These are the issues that I had with the drama, I am not guaranteeing that everyone had the same problems 1. The dialogues: I am not sure if it is because I am using subs but there seems to be no continuity in the dialogues. Some of the speech sounds like a 15-year-old trying to be cool without context. 2. The pacing of the story: Some people are honestly fine with it but for me I needed some more foundation in their friendship and not just one or two banters. I wanted them to really have some moments before they became that close 3. Screen Time: There is a lot of screen time given to side characters and we are being involved in their (unnecessary stories). Half an episode is spent on discussing an issue in the ML's family which barely has a link to the plot of now. 4. Park So Dam: Her talent is literally being wasted in the show. Her character is nothing more than a crutch to the ML, she has no screen time without the ML or the 2nd ML. So summary of her character is literally love interest for the ML. It is 6 episodes already but there is no change. So if you are watching it for her, you can probably just skip through her scenes, she has no more then 15-18 minutes in each episode of screen time.
Just a side note, if good acting impresses you, you should definitely check it out. Park Bo Gum delivered here exceptionally.
watching the teasers im not so sure of bae suzy playing a businesswoman character? i mean its bc i watched search…
the character is not a business woman yet. Dalmi is a character that strives to become a CEO whereas WWW was already 3 established women in the career.
This one is totally to your tastes. I recommend giving the first few episodes a chance before deciding whether you would watch it. This is a drama I have put on hold now but will probably revisit when it finishes airing. There are certain issues that can't be ignored but there are a lot of plus points too
It varies from country to country and their guideline system. Many shows that are M18 in my country are 13+ in other countries and vice versa. This show is 18+ in my country too but most Korean dramas don't have anything too over board. It just depends on what your country flags and what it doesn't. Having an LGBTQ+ representation immediately makes the ratings higher in my country
Their interactions feel superficial to me and that is probably one of the reasons. The plot is so interesting…
Exactly, the courage it takes to meet you idol is honestly a lot. I remember standing and debating whether I should go ask her for a picture and then had goosebumps even though she refused. The line blurred too quickly between the characters and their dialogues have no continuity especially in a conversation.
I have to disagree. It's a little early to judge that right now no? I feel like there's more to come, especially…
I actually agree with you in a way, In a way, I am looking at the show in a different way because I am more of a PSD fan than a PBG fan. Tbh I love the fact that she is relatable, fun and quirky and i do not need that role model woman. The only issue for me is that in the 4 episodes, I have no connection to her character, she doesn't give me female lead vibes. She is a relatable character who serves Hye Jun falls in love with. I wish they brought in elements of her past a little earlier just to invoke a sense of curiosity and then completed her arc later.
My brutally honest thought about Ep 5 is that Ahn Jeong Ha has absolutely no dimensions in her character. It is just the way her character is written, it does not have a back story that made me love her, her dialogues lack continuity and feel like 15-year-old thinking they are all that but in reality, they aren't. She has been reduced to a love interest and ego booster for Hye Jun and that's about it. PSD's talent is literally wasted in this show considering it is so Hye Jun centric. Also, the number of dialogues and conversations really need to be reduced, the storytelling is getting on my nerves
