It is long due that someone stood up and said this. The rate Suzy has received for her acting is honestly too exaggerated.
She is able to express her role and character to bring the message to the audience. It might not match the level of some of the better actresses out there but she is definitely a good actress.

Personally, I like her in action dramas more than the rom-coms but that is just a personal choice.
In Vagabond, I don't think any actress would be able to do her role better. Especially in the physical toughness required to pull this off. She has performed a lot of her own stunts without a stunt double and has done a commendable job.

Extraordinary You did not hook me on too. I put it on hold because I was not really invested in watching it. It is of a completely different genre and cannot be compared to an action drama.

This story is currently running in the past where Hae Ri has joined NIS because she had no other motive and has never handled a big case. The story is yet to reach the present.

During the interviews, the cast mentioned several times that there is only aspoonful of romance and the drama would not focus on romance. If the ending is like Dal Gun pointing the gun at Hae-Ri then the ending would be like Gu Family Book completely flipped.

I am just procrastinating watching last weeks episodes. I cannot really wait for the next 4 days

The case with action dramas is honestly a complicated triangle. Among us viewers, we have different preferences on whether the plot should be realistic, the romance should be present and absent, etc. All of the choices cannot be fulfilled by one drama as some of them clash and are paradoxical in nature. If the drama was to be portrayed realistically enough, I doubt the plot could move the audience as it has done now.
Cha Dal Gun having the main lead's armour is necessary otherwise he would have been dead in episode 2 itself. There might be some issues here and there but none so deep for it to be criticised so deeply. Personally, we as viewers expect something really tough and difficult from the industry and don't appreciate the gem infront of us.

Suzy is portraying her character really well. There are no visible problems for me. This can probably be her best role so far.

During the interviews, the actors mentioned that romance would be rare during the show. There would only be a few moments in the show. Personally, i felt romance was a considerable part of the show. Especially smaller moments like the leads growing closer to each other and the drunk kisses.

I am dropping this show. The comedy has been too cringy and forceful and I am pushing myself to watch ahead.

Despite all the negative comments about this drama, i am actually really enjoying the story line. I really like the fact that Go Hae Ri is emerging and growing as a character. Even Cha Dal Gun is really enjoyable as he motivates Suzy's character.
I can't wait for the further episodes. It has really got me hooked.
All actors are doing a superb job portraying their respective roles.

I was hooked to the show until the love story started. I honestly preferred them as partners solving crime together rather than lovers. Dropped the show because of the same.

Can we please talk about how good this week's episode has been? The thrill, the acting, the adventure, the mystery, and the vibes. All the actors did a fantastic job portraying their respective roles and I could not have loved it better. The storyline has improved a thousand folds from episode 4, from the character development to the loose plot of the story.
Go Hae Ri's role in this has become much clearer and bolder and I am loving it. The way she fearlessly shot and threatened the hitman and her chief.
Cha Dal Gun also now seems more realistic and loveable. I do not think I will be able to wait for a week patiently.

Your response has given me a new perspective on the Suzy's character. Although she fought weakly and wasn't as badass we expected her to be.
She is definitely helping the case a lot in terms of information. In the third episode, she even stopped Cha from making reckless decisions.
Very rightly said about her being the brain and him being the muscles. They are very compatible together.

For me Suzy's character has become nothing more than Cha Dal's love interest. He seems like a one man show who is driving the whole show forward whereas Go Hae Ri is not doing much. She is shown to be powerful and badass in the beginning but her character goes to being timid after that. Apart from her working in NIS, she isn't really substantial character and would work fine just as a support role.
The only reason she is there is to fill the romantic aspect of the drama.
The loose script writing which was done could really be better which could increase the overall potential of the show.
PS I found Suzy's acting pretty good in the show especially in the drunk scene. She doesnt seem to spoil the show and neither is the hate she is receiving justified.
