pretty much it, this is just a cdrama tropes speedrun and it references some iconic cdrama from back in the day. This felt like a lot of short cdrama wrapped into one. It was fun, it was cute, the acting was subpar, the cinematography and costuming was vastly varying in each lifetime. Overall my fav life was the first tribulation (lu changkong X xiangyun) it was cute, fun, cliche but heartfelt, really satisfying too.

I would recommend to people who are new cdrama watchers and dont really know the 'classics' of the genre.
