Filming going smoothly. The actors seem to have settled well into the sets and seems focussed on their roles/performance.
It's a great opportunity for Miles to be in a serious genre in a lead role! Remember White Cat Legend, also a serious bromance genre but he was cast in a support role (though he became very popular for Qiu Qingzi through his acting).
I hope this role gives him more recognition and better scripts in future.
It's 3-4 long months shooting day and night in various weather conditions. Let's send positive vibes and pray that all the actors keep good physical and mental health and give their best and make it a blockbuster 🎉🎉🎉🎉

You know I have always wondered what happened to him after If Voice Has Memory. He didn't have any projects in 2022 which I put it down to covid lockdown. You confirmed my suspicions - that FL in voice has memory wasn't taken well at all by his fans or the audience on Wb! He had to rebuild his career as you said. In 2023/24 he had collaborated with iQiyi , Wetv and Tencent in various dramas mainly in support roles. In 2024 he had a couple of projects under iQiyi - White Cat Legend and Fox Spirit Matchmaker in support roles and one project under Tencent as a ML in Lady revenger returns from fire. FP1&2 was 🥭 production and as you said LBTG under Tencent. I note that most of his solo modern ML roles are through Mango. So nothing has changed!
I think he signed with Mango in 2017 and continues to be under them through this Cheng Yu Ltd. Maybe his contract says he has to prioritise their productions first and give schedules only outside of their shoots. It's a complex trap 🙄
