To all those think that was rape, compare next episode (7&8) preview with current ep(5 &6). Check how Mu Ren reacted when that bastard VP tried to rape him and with how Xing Si reacted. I feel the one with Xing Si was not rape, Xing Si clearly loved Yong Jie.
And if anyone is worrying this may effect LGBTQ community, in films we have seen hero killing people, that doesn't mean viewers get inspired and kill people, if anybody did get inspired then they are not right in mental health. So true, I do like the second couple, but I am counting each day and waiting an entire week for just 20 min ep just for Shi De and Shu Yi. I don't want anyone to steal time from them.

This season was very good actually, I think the problem lies in us being over excited.

Nobody with right mind would consider rape to be their 'thing', but dropping a good series with lot of potential just because of this is not my style.

Like I said everyone have different taste. If I saw a bl series and the couple didn't even kiss, I am going to get angry about it. Eg: Cherry Magic. It was one of my favorite show but the couple didn't even kiss once, I truly wished they would kiss at least once in the elevator in the climax.
I am seeing bl series because I expect kisses or steamy scenes or else I would have seen bromance like Untamed or Word of honor, why waste time with these stupid plots that we have already seen many times in hetro films and series. And I think that is the reason why most of the people are watching it.
I understand you find ep 6 disturbing, but don't make it sound more darker than it already is, I do wish to see this series to it's end since it have good humor, hot actors and good production team.

Just because you like apple that doesn't mean others can't like orange. Each person have different taste, you may like series like 2gether and I like TharnType and Untamed more. Just because you hate TharnType or Untamed, you have no right to criticize others for liking it. None of us are here watching these series to hold the sword of justice and to eradicate all the evil. Yes, I seriously find 2gether boring towards it's end not because I am a perv, but I think Tine's character lost it's cheery personality and he started depending on others too much and have become week. And Tine was the one I liked the most in that show, so I found the show boring. Every person may have their own reason for loving a show and hating it.

Just because one like TharnType more that doesn't make her a perv. I personally like it because of it's hot scenes, enemy to lovers genre, cheating and all the drama. And I personally don't think anyone is watching TharnType just for porn because there are porn sites available if they wish to see porn, they don't have to waste 40 minutes for 2 or 3 min kiss scenes or hugs. We like those kiss scenes because we see the true love between the characters and that is why we are bl fans. Hiding under the covers and peeking and smiling at those romantic and hot scenes, that feel is only a true boys love fan could understand.

And for Untamed, it is legendry and it's original version "Founder of Diabolism" is 10 times better. Don't get me started here, I like Wei Ying more than I like myself.

You may be watching these for seeing 'real life', but I am here for 'fantasy and fiction'. If every one thought like you then Disney and all those Avenger's would have been a huge flop. You might like boring genre but I have that too much in real life, so I want to see something exciting with lots of drama. Don't expect everyone out there to like what you like and the one's who don't are pervs. Just because one like Joker more than Batman, that doesn't make them a terrorist or terrorism supporter.

Most of the bl series out there are form bl manga and novels. Each manga or novel will have tags of certain triggers, if you are not interested don't read.

I don't agree with your views. First of all from my 7 years of being a bl fan, I have read almost all the famous bl novels, manga, and have seen series. The thing you should understand is most of the bl series are produced based on manga and novels. Even this year's very high budget series immortality is based on a hit novel Husky and White Cat Shizun (which have good plot with lots of dark stuffs). So there is no such a big difference in years and the concept in bl industry. Even last years hit Cherry Magic is adaptation of hit manga.
Also to @LeeMyCookies personally attacking a person just because they don't share your view point is bad.

Other than in movies or series, I have never seen any rape victim falling in love with their attacker anywhere in real life . That is why a fiction is just a fiction and real life is different. If you can't understand that difference, then bl is not the thing for you, because many of the hit bl's have similar contents in it.

Well I have the same question for you, consider you are in such a position (pls don't feel offended in any way), if you saw your rapist what would be reaction, wouldn't you want to kill him, or lock him up in jail or at least beat the hell out of him. If I had been in such position and if it had been my younger brother(I don't have any) had done something like that, I would personally break both his legs and lock him in a mental asylum. That is what normal reaction is like. But what happened here is different. The elder brother didn't feel either disgust or anger when he knew what happened. He felt guilt thinking he took advantage of his younger brother, cause he also have such thoughts deep in his mind. And even when he knew the truth more than anger or disgust, I think he felt betrayal and shame.
So they clearly do love each other and it is the social customs that keep them apart. So don't think it as some brutal rape and think of it as issues between lovers.

They are creating the series for money and people are watching it for fun. TharnType is one of the best hit serial in bl industry, not said by me but by censes and awards. And it is one of the most popular bl series. If the script writer added everything you said into the series then it would have been called 'Tar's emotional Recovery', and seriously do you think anyone would watch such a boring plot. @New Sun, you are seriously hilarious.
