For me, I really enjoyed the first few episodes. Actually it made me want more so I went to read the novels which helped me understand the character more on why they act the way they do. Well yes, some parts of the plot seems stupid but hey, this is thai bl lol. But I totally agree on how they're infantilizing Kuea is unacceptable. Now that he has "allegedly" called off engagement, he should go on full fledged Ai'Kuea personality and drop those hideous plush dolls. Other than that, I still enjoy the show a lot and it's so cute. Of course it's not gonna happen in reality but we watch shows to escape reality so it's my guilty pleasure~ Hopefully there's more plot development in the future episodes and spicy scenes ;)
I saw so many comments about confusion on Lian's sudden behavior change. Imo, it's not sudden. Lian and Kuea were apart for sometime when Kuea was in UK. According to the novel, Nu Kuea changed into Ai'Kuea/Kirin only after he went to UK (simply put, puberty came) Lian loves Kuea a lot even before UK. But technically Kuea was still a kid so he only took care of him from afar. On top of that, he has issues himself that he believes he is not good enough for Kuea (considering their complicated family history will Keeratis helping Wangs). So when he found out that Kuea was Kirin, he was very angry, mostly to himself for missing out a huge chunk of Kuea's life and feels like he doesn't know the boy anymore. And of course, he was mad Kuea felt like he had to keep a secret from him. In the novel, he explained that he lashed out on the night Kuea wanted to call off the engagement because he was still angry. In the series, I do agree Lian comes off as a jerk but after reading the novel, I understood him more. I think after finding out about Kirin and also Kuea's grown up (ish, he needs to stop playing with those plush dolls srsly), Lian is realizing that it's time to act. If Lian doesn't act now, he might lose Kuea. In conclusion tho, they really need to communicate and its a huge issue but I'm just saying I can see where they're coming from.
Hmmm...if you remove the BL context I think Theo is psychotic. Not because he wrote in the book, but because he…
Lol I totally feel the same way.. if they wanted to make Theo enchante, they should've planned it from the beginning and redo the plot. I do think that Theo being enchate is a good plot twist but the way they made him rn is really problematic. If this happened to me irl, I'll get a restraining order lol.. they should've at least hinted Theo's feelings for Akk at least... this is lazy writing.. might as well just reveal Akk was enchante instead...
The three seasons were so spread out I actually don't rmb the details well but damn I didn't think it would be Hana... but she did genuinely care for Rose. After such a long time, we finally find out who's the murderer, I can die in peace lol
Is Sin the kid always going on with the Buddhist quotes?
lol same i get u... i think a lot of ppl are not tht happy with the set up and esp lian... but the novel does explain why he's tht way and also why he didnt knw abt kuea's secrets earlier
Is Sin the kid always going on with the Buddhist quotes?
yes! the novel had a lot more context and explaining on why the characters act the way they do... they also explain extensively on the history of keeratis and wangs ... i guess in the drama, those things are hard to explain in conversation, they need like narration
Is Sin the kid always going on with the Buddhist quotes?
In the novel they explained he grew up in a temple and wanted to b a supreme patriarch but it was complicated so he quit. But he certainly hasn't forgot his days there lolll
The actors are cute but the audio is terrible, they should've added audio post-production (they did in some parts but it's so obvious). And the acting is below the standard of web dramas. I don't have high standards for web drama but so far the dialogue and line delivery is so awkward. I really had high hopes for the plot but it's so hard to continue :c
