But its a historical drama based on real historical figures. If they wanted a romance drama might as well do it in a fictional world. If they want this to b the story of Jeongjo and deok im, his legitimate wife def plays a role. They were married at the age of 9 and has been stuck since then. I went to look and she was in the novel too. Just personal opinion

No, actually I agree with you! I'm definitely not surprised by the fact tht JBR was the killer all along. I really don't like the storytelling perspective of this drama. It's confusing and doesn't make you gasp when they did the big reveal. It was kind of expected for me.
