Is there any explanation of Nan Feng blocking Lao Yan in first series? And then ep. 12 like nothing happened
In the novel, both nan feng and lao yan are non committed, playboy/playgirl type. Nan feng thought they'll never meet again so she simply blocked him. And lao yan didn't even notice she blocked him until they meet again the second time.
In the drama, they changed lao yan character as a lover boy. But they still want to commit to some of the original plot I guess, and with the editing, lots of the details were removed, so we ended up with unexplainable arc.
Did anyone here read the novel? Should I read the novel to get more detailed story?
Tq. I won't mind the different characterisations, I always love finding that surprise in novel. But I need to know, are there side characters plot in the novel? Right now I'm most intrigued with Lao Yan and Jiang Feng's story because it seems like there's a huge chunk of story missing from the drama.
Like in First Frost, the side characters story were non existent in the novel, was only made up for the drama.
I'm only in ep 4 but the editing really bothered me. I heard they edit the episodes from 36 to only 23 and it's sooo obvious. So many missing scenes ughh I'm annoyed
the connections:1. fu shizhe's nephew, fu zhengchu (similar age range) liked sangzhi when younger2. sangyan is…
Have you read the novel? I'm actually curious how is he involved in SY life. I know he's a junior but there are thousands of junior in one school, why did SY dislike or awkward with him?
The harraser/rapist/killer was her uncle's brother in-law, not her real uncle (no relation to her).
Actually, in asian culture he's also considered an uncle. Yifan kept saying she doesn't know him / no relation with him because she doesn't want to be associated with him.
I read the novel after watching the drama and found out the Hong Kong runaway scene didn't happen in novel. In novel Sang Yan went to Yihe to meet Sang Zhi, he had an argument with Yifan before that because Yifan didn't let him know that her uncle is harassing her. Feeling guilty, Yifan also flew to Yihe to chase Sang Yan. And I feel like that's soooo much better trope than running away to another city to hide for months. Why did they change thatt
is there any relation btw the main characters in WITM and TFF??
And do you know what their relation is about? I mean, in First Frost novel, there's a brief mention that Sang Yan doesn't like him. Why is that? And if he's SY junior, he should be Wen Yifan junior as well. Are they somehow a prominent character in this story as well, just like Sang Zhi and Jiaxu in First Frost?
Can anyone let me know what's their connection in the Hidden Love / First Frost universe? I'm reading First Frost and there's a quick mention of Fu Shize (Sang Yan saw him in supermarket and became angry). I was intrigued why is there suddenly a new character right at the end of the novel so I looked up Fu Shize name and came across this page. Can anyone that have read the novel let me know what exactly is their connection? Are we getting another drama with Sang Yan?
I'm seeing some are complaining about the second male lead... Is the love triangle that bad?
There's no love triangle actually, but the 2ML is annoyingly persistent. He thinks the ML is a bad choice for FL and want to prevent them from being together.
I'm glad I watched this despite the bad reviews. Some people might hate it because of FL swaying attitude, but anyone that went through the same thing she did would behave the same way imo. I personally find the drama gripping and have no boring moments til ep 10. It went downhill a bit after ep 10, but still it's such a good drama and should've been rated higher.
