Yes, and I think the other reason is that there could be fewer viewers paying attention to some of those categories such as screenwriter/director, secondary characters and costumes...

Hi, I think you can start from Ep3, the chronological start of this drama. 1st 15 episodes are for The Untamed (TU) world building, and you may notice new details you missed the first time you watched it. Know that there are 5 major clans (Jiang, Jin, Lan, Wen and Nie clans) and the chief of the cultivator world hails from the Wen Clan....

Hey, like you, in my review, I too compared this drama to EAW, but unlike you, I find the story of the autistic protagonist here to be much more realistic than EAW - Woo is just loaded with autism-cuteness, and EAW lacks originality, depth and realism to be a quality production. For me, Good Doctor is a better drama than EAW.

as objectively as I can, this is a must watch.. details in my drama review.
note that unlike LBFAD, there is no three realms and this is more wuxia on clan rivalry, power struggle, strong vs weak, evil vs good, and the first two episodes may be confusing, as a lot happened leading to the events in the first two episodes.. but watch on and the story will unfold

Watching Summer Strike reminded me of this dorama, and I'm back and this time managed to find this drama on YouTube with Chinese subtitles :) Couldn't find this drama a year ago.

nah, save the trouble and just boycott - I have stopped watching the award ceremony since last year. and Best Drama and Best Screenplay are for the best, not the fave. btw does producing awards show make tons of money, and what has making money gotta do with my comment on dramas been snubbed at Baeksang?

baeksang standards have dropped year on year.. the results are probably pre-determined on the nomination day, when better dramas are obviously snubbed.

Frankly, still do not know what's the glory of a story on the FL who is actually no different from her school mates who bullied her when she revenged mercilessly on all of them, nor what's so extraordinary of the story of the FL whose only purpose is to inject elements of autism-cuteness into a court room drama when her struggles in her life and profession are only superficially dealt with.

Whereas, the story of the Queen who rises to be the pillar of strength for her husband (the King), her children and other Princes, and the underprivileged is the extraordinary drama that deserves more recognition and glory, but was neither nominated for Best Drama nor Best Screenplay.

Yea, I know. My gripe is "overly" bl hyped. While this drama is adapted from a bl novel, the two male leads are portrayed as soulmates in the drama, and the soul/core of this drama is not on their relationship. The drama transcends the novel, by focusing on the story, plot, and themes on found family, good vs evil, weak vs strong, the ugliness of society and hypocrisy of noble clans, which is what this drama is really about. Thus, I find this drama overly bl hyped, to the extent of discrediting the core of the drama and "deterring" away viewers who stay away from bl dramas, which is such a pity.

For this drama, it is actually good to go in blind.
