Ratings aren't really meaningful. In addition, they are subject to manipulation. The difference is that Xu Kai doesn't have water armies to prop up his scores when water armies shoot it down. I was following a few drams and notice that pattern, even they get hit with massive 1's but they can come back with massive 5's that exceed 1's.

its' only ep 15 or 16, earlier comments made, " plot hole, plot hole, how dumb he breaks his legs jumping off the tower gate"or "why he passed out." were premature comments. The quality of this production and the unique IP exceed dramas with higher MDL scores which don't always reflect quality. This drama flows more like a continuous cinematic movie with a central storyline than common drama soap opera style stories one conflict after another. This story is one that you immerse yourself into it from beginning to end instead of rush.
