No no no nooo am not happy 💔spoiled myself of the ending cos am curious but damnn whyyy
I checked the ending, it looked happy. they're together. I think whoever said time travel was right. The demon gave her a time travel artifact. I bet Yu Zheng wrote the whole script himself. The jade pendants that match up and the closed loop if that is what this is was in another drama too, quite a coincidence.
It's seems that her child it's not their own child.
that's what I thought based on the way he screamed a few times "Impossible!" unless he took precautions also, the other thing I grapple with is why he didn't ask someone to watch her, but I think he didn't have time, surely, he would have done that since he admitted it was not going to be easy for her living as a mortal
hahaha though i still have one question, how did hua ruyue get pregnant when there's even no kissing scene while…
the intimacy was implied like glances, lingering touches, charged silences (looking at each other, unspoken but you can feel it) that's how they used to do it in the 1930s through the 1960s. There was a moment in a scene she touched him like she wanted intimacy, but then they got interrupted.
the support cast indeed didnt have much to do. I’m ok with not always use the support cast, or giving them extensive…
I'm not saying there is anything wrong with it in Feud. I'm just saying I recognize their potential but didn't see it here. Some scripts need more stories and others don't. It's not a one size fits all. I don't like fillers for sake of filling when you can skip it and still understand the plot, then it's truly annoying. But some stories having sub stories that are intertwined with main story that does enrich overall experience. It's okay if it enriches the whole story and not feel like a standalone filler. I'm not saying anything is missing in Feud. Since it's a feud, the focus on the main lead makes sense, especially given the non-linear plot formats and the nature of the conflict, so it doesn’t need extra layers. Many especially veteran actors are quite good like the Duke in The Legend of Zang Hua, I saw him before, then he gave an amazing performance in The Legend of Zang Hua but of course, people only talk about the main leads which is understandable. But if you watch enough, you start to see same supporting actors and you kind of appreciate them too. Supporting actors don’t always get to choose their roles, so it’s great when they get a part that showcases their talent.
One thing I wish the drama did better, is building up how they fell in love. We have so much backstory of their…
there was no 'falling in love'. they were created the same time with a resonance, they can literally and physically feel each other, so she found him and fell in love literally at first sight
oh, that's right, he was that second male lead's brother, and they were on the right side. It must have been his cold demeanor. Did he ever smile? I was thinking of Court Lady he's this bandit character, and Story of Yanxi Palace, he tried to usurp throne. Another thing is that he tends to play the one who can't get the girl like in AMA, Court Lady (at the end he kidnapped her), Yanxi Palace.
also, the other thing I grapple with is why he didn't ask someone to watch her, but I think he didn't have time, surely, he would have done that since he admitted it was not going to be easy for her living as a mortal
Impossible! Impossible!
apparently, there was foreshadowing in what he said
