there is not one example, it's just how it comes across to my ears. It may be what the production wants. The drama is funny, so the fast, perfect voice acting fits. It’s not how people really talk, but that style makes the comedy work. I guess I didn't' realized this drama was funny.

I think too good a job that it is a bit jarring to me, like I really notice it to the point, it's like when I watch animation or narration, I know it's a voice actor. I think his own voice would have been better, more natural. I prefer the actor's voices even if it is not perfect Mandarin accents or perfect delivery as long as it's acceptable. I have no problem either way but for some reason in this drama, the voice acting is too perfect. People don't talk like that.

However, Peter Ho, I thought he was using his voice because it sounded more natural and matched his acting, but to my surprise, a veteran like him is dubbed too. So I do like that voice acting, it' seems more natural to my ears, not as theatrical.

I like that actor who plays her father. I've seen him before in some other drama. Something about him, certain roles, he's good at, like comedy. I think overall it's because he can act. Comedy is not easy.

This sci-fi story sounds similar to the sci-fi Reset (2022) which is also stuck in a never-ending time loop. Reset was hugely successful.

Han Ting and Ji Xing only knew each other briefly during winter vacation of her sophomore year. Han Ting was a year or two older and she addressed him as senior when she first saw him. The flashbacks show a 19-yr old Han Ting falling in love with her. He wanted to go steady with her but didn't get the chance to ask her since he had to leave for Germany and only came back to China during summers. She on the other hand had never developed any romantic feelings for him, but the flashbacks show that he saw something in her he really like. I think he admired her tenacity even back then, how smart she is, but I think most of all, her vision for medical robots, he remembered her speech and her smile, and they fed a stray cat together so they had enough common interest between them in that short amount of time enough to leave a lasting impression on young Han Ting. But Han Ting I think once he was in Germany, he's a very focused person with a lot of goals, so since she never returned his messages, he figured she has no interest him.

Han Ting tried to kill two birds with one stone. On the one hand, he wants to support Ji Xing, on the other hand, he sees an opportunity to do so with benefits to him, but she misunderstood him, because he would never take advantage of her purely for motives.

Oh actually I think you are right. the Han Ting I really like starts in ep, 5 the scene where she is on her way out of the company with her box of belongings but stops to order strawberry cake and Han Ting asks to talk to her about her business. That's pure Han Ting there, his whole demeanor, the way he talks, the way he looks, and his tone shifted in that scene you know things between them are changing and getting messy from here on. Han Ting thought he had it all under control, she was going to accept his offer, but instead all because he said she should follow her original aspirations, she decides to go and make products that will make people's lives better. She's a dreamer, not a realist.

You can really feel the novel characters in the drama, the way they portray them, the dynamics are similar.
