nothing much to plot nice boys fighting against homophobia in school but a lot of teasing and the bad boy tamed in the end was different from who was suggested in the start🌈
seems not entirely successful background to hang a bl story on and chemistry not exactly white hot 、 pretty formulaic plot and the quarrel trope rather unconvincing; also is working together and living together likely to work out I wonder?
this was the first k drama I watched I think and it started my long exploration of k drama so as I rewatch I am especially thankful to it and its cast this Christmas season ❤️🎄
very cute but really in the middle of this dorama it is difficult to understand how someone supposedly finding out about how to express his feelings as an actor like Shirasaki is so obtuse about feeling Hayama's feelings for him
this really takes off after the first two episodes with lots of interlocking stories and characters great k drama mystery thriller with a supernatural dimension and the back story and fates of the main characters come together well towards the end though I do not totally understand the ending〜maybe leaves open another season? I also like that there is only minimal if any romance as similar dramas are spoiled by it in my opinion ⭐️
I am sad to watch any human being mistreated as Chihiro by Keito。 I get it Keito suffered abuse growing up and may be acting this out later as psychologists have made us know to happen but this is difficult to watch and even if relationship seems to develop later。 it is brave for such a subject to be produced in dorama though and the resolution was perfect as the title suggests
the strangest thing maybe was how this started out as investigation with Li Bi as central character and he faded out in last episodes while a side character suddenly becomes the genius to unravel thee links of the plot but then himself goes unrecognized and unrewarded ;second how this drama ends on such a muted note、 no great unmasking of villains and rewards and punishments but then maybe this is in keeping with the arch of the drama; much is left not stated (maybe too much )and must be understood ;the climax was amazing but the working out in the final episodes quite good also、 but for me if there is a failing it is in the somewhat rushed ending and because the fate of various characters left in the dark
Fantastic in almost every way 〜starts as investigative mystery and soon combined into high action drama。why have I waited so long to watch ?48 episodes is not a huge mountain at all it was climbed in record time⭐️
excellent serious drama but with light touches 、attraction of opposites romance and characters I can empathize with and the epilogue was also well done
this seems an interesting drama but、 ten minutes into it my head is spinning with so many persons to remember!maybe good for anyone feeling lost about direction in their lives 、 the ending was a clever way to bring resolution of issues together though somewhat contrived〜 maybe the drama as a whole would be better and more focused with fewer characters and issues but the closing words speak for this drama:「life is not simple but it's interesting」
not an easy watch but an illuminating aesthetic and feeling experience〜 not as I expected really a depiction of social attitudes in a homophobic society but an exploration of one man working out his psychological, emotional survival in that society, the fine line between love and hurt 、self-realization and self-disgust、 acceptance and rejection :who was it who said ”beauty can come out of a dunghill”。 beautiful imagery of nature and the eponymous palace in cinematography and sound ( Chinese opera ) 〜Si Han acted sensitively and convincingly it is interesting to note that gay love was an accepted part of civilization in China (as in Japan) for hundreds of years ironically persecuted in current supposedly humanitarian times is it really a decaying palace or a decaying society where love is driven into the night and memorials of a past cultured civilization ?
a good performance of this young actor (he actually looks the age of the character) in a difficult role、 though for me it was not an absolutely gripping version of this trope
this is quite a good drama but from episode 7 or 8 the coincidences become a little too unbelievable and the comedy not really funny〜 it would be better if Seo did not find out so soon what was going on with Yook I think: it seems strung into 16 episodes with each having a cliffhanger twist Dong Shik has to get out of when it could be shorter 〜final verdict watchable for the twists but it's credibility went relentlessly downhill
perfect ending though🌈❤️
