On School 2013 Special May 23, 2018
I usually find talk shows about the show detract from my feelings about the drama. I feel the ones you relate to and find a place for inside are the characters, not the actors as such, however much their good looks and personalities are so important. To see them as - in a way - "real" people affects your feelings for the characters they represent. I don't want to lose the characters in my head by confusing them with the actors in real life.

i loved this show, i loved the bromance between the two leads than the actual romance. i sorta wanted the girl…
yes, why does there always have to be a girl splitting up the guys?

NO! Bromance is nice in just one of the first episodes. Then it looks forced and is not interesting at all.
Did I miss something? apart from when they were rescuing each other, where is the bromance? they spend all their time fighting over the same girl

Stayed the course, must have been OK if it kept my attention over 16 episodes, but there were good patches and rather bad patches (including the oh-so-twee "7 years later" ending). And quite frankly I don't see as realistic the idea of heavenly matrimonial bliss for the leads, while also suggesting these two's bromantic love was so great. I got the distinct feeling - especially as it was the last scene - that the message was their brotherly love transcended even their blissful marriage partners. Which is it? Very confusing. Hope it was the latter.

Long Time, no see - great acting, made it live. Handsome guy. Hope he has a good career ahead of him.

Sweet, my only criticism is it's too short, I'd like to see how the story develops.

On Snowy Love Fall in Spring Apr 26, 2018
Based on Mishima's Spring Snow (春の雪, Haru no Yuki), first volume of his tetralogy "Sea of Fertility". Having read it, the novel starts out promisingly, the historical background is highly interesting, but can pall a bit later, and the ending is problematic. Still, he was a great writer. That's why it's probably a bit over the heads of certain reviewers here.

As at ep. 3 the veoh picture quality is sadly very poor. Very charming and "tasteful". Setting is nice. I would not say Shiina Kippei is exactly "very handsome" whatever his other talents. Takizawa Hideaki gives a whole new dimension to the English slang expression "stuffing your face". Can be quite funny, especially the caption "comments" on what's going on inside their heads. As I've watched I really like this series and it has been worthwhile sitting though some very poor filming but ep 8 just ceased half way through. It's such a pity a decent recording does not seem to be available but it's become virtually impossible to watch until last three episodes. Ten out of ten for the series itself and the actors.Very neatly wrapped up. Lovely story. If you like things a bit sentimental, you'll like this.
